Utah, Subutex, Suboxone, Buprenorphine Need Doctor Please Help (Page 3)

Updated

I am looking for affordable Subutex, suboxone, buprenorphine doctor in Utah near the Salt Lake Valley or North Salt Lake, I just lost my insurance and I don't have a lot of money. I have been on subutex for 4 years and I have been without and am very very sick. I can't get out of bed and I am just trying to survive one minute at a time. If anyone can help me at all it would be very much appreciated. Thanks.

Re: Lou (# 40) Expand Referenced Message

Hi Lou,

I'm in the United States, the state of Alabama to be exact. I've come to realize that you have to be stronger than your adversaries, and that comes in the form of many, therefore, you have to have tough skin having the ploys of this evil society we're a part of! "You've never really lived until you've nearly died," YES I can undeniably agree with this!!! The strength of this statement is amazing, and being an addict, we can believe that we've played Russian Roulette more times than we can recall with our lives! But, if we are still here despite the amass of ignorance displayed by our behaviors, choices, and actions, we have a moral duty to assist others that have found themselves on or headed to the path of addiction. I find so much comfort knowing that my experiences can help shape and mold the experiences of another in a positive way, and gives them the ammunition to help another. We only succeed when we give away what we have, what's been good to us during our journey of recovery, and in doing so, we become better people! It's such a simplistic way of living, as well as loving our fellow man/woman!!

I AM now apart of the solution! We know that there is STRENGTH in numbers, so I'm looking to join forces with others, like and unlike us, to exact some change while I'm still here because when I become a memory to my loved ones and to the world, I desire to be remembered not only as having contributed to the problem but was FEARLESS enough to be a part of the SOLUTION as Well!

I'm not sure what I was trying to say lol but what I meant is, we have to have tough skin when dealing with the evil ploys of this society :)

Alabama sounds like a nice place, do you like it? We get a fair bit of news from America, hope you are in a safe place with all the storm action sounds terrible, also been reading about the drug problem going on over there. seems to be big ice problem going on over here which seems to be creating a lot of problems ,i really dont know much about that, opiates use to be the main problem in australia, i think a lot of the problem is some of us are just to sensitive to this society, im beginning to not liike watching nightly news. take care.

Re: Lou (# 43) Expand Referenced Message

Hi Lou, Alabama is home for me now! I've been here most of my life, but I was born up north.

Thanks for the safe wishes regarding Hurricane Florence! I'm here in Birmingham so we got a lot of strong rain/thunderstorms but no hurricane- thank God!

It's so sad to know that this "opioid crisis" is effecting people everywhere smh!! I jus wish the best for everyone that needs proper medical care because no one should have to pay the price for the mistakes of others! But, these events are more deep than what appears to be on the surface!

As I've stated, I'm a recovering addict and my drug of choice was hydrocodone (Lortabs), and when they weren't available I'd take Percocet but I never went doctor shopping, pretending to need pain meds. Every pill I've ever taken (after the initial 4 months following surgery when I had my own supply) came from actual patients that got them from the doctor or from the dealer that got them from the actual patient that got them from the doctor. I do know of a handful of instances when some local pharmacies or delivery trucks were held-up/robbed for the narcotics, however, that was due to the news report so I didn't know any of them personally to obtain any from them! You know, it kinds of upset me when the finger is steadily being pointed at the addict when in all actuality, the accountability doesn't start there! Likewise, IMHO, anyone that has been on ANY type of narcotic for 5, 10, 15, 20, 25+ years has been passed the point of just being "physically dependent;" there is a mental/emotional dependency as Well! And, I'm not pointing fingers or making accusations, but just look at the outrage, the pleading, the begging of a lot of people on these forums claiming to NEED these meds for pain maintenance, yet they're running out early, losing them/having them stolen more than once, taking more than prescribed, complaining of the inefficiency, etc., etc. Now, I do understand that this doesn't apply to everyone, therefore, if the shoe doesn't fit please refrain from jumping on here crucifying me because I am entitled to my opinion, and I've earned my place to speak on this from experience. My heart goes out to ANYONE, Chronic Pain Patients and Addicts alike, because they all need these narcotics for one reason or another. I am thankful to be off that rollercoaster ride of making sure I have enough pills to entertain my daily responsibilities, yet I would never be selfish enough to not keep my hands outstretched for the ones still struggling- for whatever reasons!!!

Re: Lou (# 43) Expand Referenced Message

Oh yea Lou,

I stopped watching the news a LONG time ago because it had gotten so DEPRESSING to see all the bad things happening in the city, in the state, or nationally! There used to be a time when there was a healthy balance between inspirational and positive news, and the bad stuff, but now it seems that all you see on the news is EVERY crime and sin known to man! I'm sure there are GREAT things going on that can make the news but I guess they won't get enough reviews for that!

What has come of everyone; constantly chasing the negative smh
