Use Of Trytomer

I am suffering from irritable bowl syndrome, having mild pain in Rt Hypochondriam for the past 5 years, on Librax. Now Dr prescribed Trytomer 10 mg, though it's for depression. Should I continue to take it? I observed no side effects. Please advise.
