Levosulpiridine with Rabeprazole is used to help reduce stomach acid and to facilitate gastric emptying.

I am taking Paroxetine for the last five years for my ocd problem. Now for gerd related motility problems i am prescribed levosulpiride and rabeprazole by Dr. for a period of 15 days. Now this levosulpride is known to cross blood brain barrier and likely to cause decrease in dopamine levels. I would like to know whether this is a contra indicator for paroxetine. Any gastero enterologist / psychiatrist may answer this.

My doctor has advised me that levosulpiride does not go well with paroxetine which I take for ocd problem for the last several years. Actually leosulpiride affects dopamine and we are advised to avoid levosulpiride.
