Unopened Amoxicillin - Can I Still Use It?

I still have two bottles of Amoxicillin oral 200/5 tri left over from a month ago with an expiration date of 6/16 I had for another bacterial infection ..now I have another infection that I see can be treated by this same med. Is it OK to use it since I already have it? Went to the ER LAST NIGHT cause I couldn't take feeling bad no longer. I tried to wait as long as possible but went on and they did nothing for Me. X-rayed Me took my blood told me i was little dehydrated but ok? How can you be a little dehydrated but ok? Wow! but no fluids were given, although they did give Me Motrin intravenously to treat my fever and a med to treat the nausea after receiving the Motrin then they prescribed Me some bactrim and norco for pain but didnt even address all my complaints, im so furious! Then i was just Discharged like I was nothing. I don't have no Money..i still have my Amoxicillin already available that can cure the same symptoms bactrim can cause. They discharged me like I didn't matter. I can't keep running to the ER and I'm still sick. Is it OK to take what I already have to treat my symptoms since the exp date is 6/16? Help!! I'm at my wits end and tired of feeling like this...

As long as it isn't expired, it can still be taken, if your doctor approves.

The FDA lists the typical side effects of this antibiotic as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea.

Is there anything else I can help with?

The GP stated take 3 teaspoonfuls 3times a day but the Original bottle stated take every 12hours which is correct? Cause I started the way my GP stated to take it,but I got really warm all over and temp went up .it scared Me ..,but I also took that hours after breakfast so shld I have taken it with food? Or which directions shld I follow so this reaction don't happen again..I'm just Ready to feel better..
