This contains the active ingredient Pantoprazole, it is a proton pump inhibitor that is used to reduce the amount of acid produced by the stomach to treat or prevent conditions, such as what you are experiencing.

It is always wises to follow your doctor's advice and discuss any concerns you have with them.

However, this medication can cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, stomach pain and flatulence.

Therefore, if you are experiencing a lot of gas, you may need something that will help break that up, as well, until this medication has a chance to start working.

Have you discussed that with your doctor?
