Tylenol (acetaminophen) Available In Iv Form?

Hi. I was wondering if anyone out there has been able to get Acetaminophen in IV form for everyday aches and pains or to take with oxycodone to make it more effective? Also, what is Toradol? Would it be better to get that? I have gastroparesis, and my stomach can't really metabolize pills. I am trying to get as many of my meds to be either liquid or even better, IV. I have a PICC line in my arm. Thanks so much!

Almost all medications are available in IV form, since that is the most common way that most hospitals use them in emergencies, the issue is being able to find a doctor who will prescribe them that way, and a pharmacy that carries them.

Toradol contains the active ingredient Ketorolac, it is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory that is used to treat pain, fever, and swelling. What's best for you is up to you and your medical provider.

The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, stomach pain, and increased risk of bleeding.

Unfortunately I take a lot of meds right now for Tbi, gastroparesis and anxiety/depression. The IV meds I have are Zofran and Phenergan plus bags of saline for hydration. Adderall, Xanax, Effexor, Wellbutrin, Propanolol, bupropion, remeron, carafate, nexium.....
