A Ethamvutol Hydrochloride and Isoniazid ## My mother is taking AKT-4 tablets from 1 month but as soon as she takes the tablet she is vomiting. could any one can give me the alternative medicines for this problem ## Ethambutol is used to treat Tuberculosis, as is the Isoniazid. Some side effects may include: Optic Neuritis, nausea, hepatitis and skin rash. As to what else she can use, this site is not medical professionals, has she consulted her doctor about this problem? I am a kidney patient on dialysis. My sgpt & sgot levels increased to 333 & 264. Please tell me what medicine i can take? Earlier i had taken a nine month course of tuberculosis medication & it wasn't until later that doctors advised i stop the medicine. At that time my sgot & sgpt level was also high. I'm veg. & a non-alcoholic person. Please advise me on proper treatment.

Have you discussed this with your doctor? While these medications aren't considered super dangerous during pregnancy, it may be a better idea to wait, until you have finished the course of the medication and the TB infection is cleared up, before becoming pregnant. Hello, I would like to know if anyone is taking Rifampin and what are side effects, i read about it online but would like to know how long side effects usually occur or if they occur at all? Can someone please share their experience. It is very important to me. my son age of 17 felt fever and coughing i brought him to a doctor,he took a chest X ray and diagnosed Tb and prescribe 4 tab. These side effects should go away, within a few days of finishing your course of treatment, however, if they are very severe you may want to discuss it with your doctor. Hello, I just read in the instructions inside of the box of Althea pills that drinking althea together with Isoniazide may take effect. I need Isoniazide because I am under treatment for tuberculosis, and I just had a boyfriend and I personally decided to take pills as contraceptive instead of condoms. I just took my 1st pill today. I had Tb in last month & started dosage of Forecox 2 daily as per physician's recommendations. Now a days I am feeling too tired aven after walking for 500 mtrs. Whether any chances of further infection of Tb after completing course of Forecox. ## Forecox contains Ethambutol, Isonazid, Pyrazinimide and rifampicin. The weakness and drowsiness can be side effects, as well as nausea and dizziness. As to further infection or reinfection, there is no real way to say for certain. Myrin P Forte Can Be Taken With milk? ## Myrin-P Forte contains Ethambutol, Rifampicin, INH and Pyrazinamide, it is used to treat TB. To be most effective, it should be taken on an empty stomach, 1 hour before, or 2 hours after meals and, generally, that would mean taking it with only water. Milk can coat the stomach and affect the absorption of some medications. If it irritates your stomach, you can take it with antacids. My Aunt has been diagonosed with possible tuberclosis of the rib bone which was recently surgically removed. However, PCR for tuberclosis performed on blood sample a month back was negative. Now without confirming for sure the doctor has prescribed ATK4 as the report says that it is possibly tuberclosis. Considering that she is actually not suffering from tuberclosis then if she takes doses of atk4 what will be its possible side effects on her? ## I have tuberculosis in my backbone (spine) and inside my neck from last 1 year.
