I suffer from chronic back pain Had surgery for spinal stenosis two years ago and this has helped pain in legs
i am a very active 86 year old and dont believe in giving up! However the chronic and persistent lower back pain is making life very difficult. I am taking 10mg of trepiline at night An increase does help but causes an itch

I am in the process of tapering off Zolpidem which I have taken for 13years for insomnia. Tolerance to this drug ment I needed up to 30mg to get sleep. At the moment I am taking 14mg a night. My GP has prescribed Trepiline 25mg - 50mg a night to help with rebound insomnia. I only take it when needed - can't get to sleep or if I wake in the night. Am I trading one addiction for another and do I have to take it every night to obtain maximum sleep benefits. I do not find it nearly as effective as the Zolpidem was in the beginning. I suffer dreadfully from insomnia.

does this trepoline cause confusion with which day it is and some memory loss? my mom has taken these tabs and just went off it. since she's off im noticin unusual behaviour. PLEASE HELP MY MOM.

I have been using trepiline for a month now and every morning its a struggle to wake up.I have pain in my penis which i hear is caused by a stricture.I have also been prescribed ibuprofen while also using a catheter but no change in the intensity of the pain.pls advise

I am suffering from a severe headache, went to see a neurologist who prescribed toplep and trepiline. Within 2 months of taking them, I fell pregnant continued with medication and Miscarried at nine weeks. Would advise you to stop taking them

I am using trepiline 25 mg morning and night and lyrica 150 mg p/d now together for 3 years and both have there own function. The Trepiline help to keep me calm and sleep better and for depression attacks. the lyrica helps a lot for the pain in my legs and feet, the lyrica is a life safer as far the pain. On all medication a person pay some price but for me the side effects is better then the constant pain. I am going to take the trepiline from now on 50mg only at night 18h00 to not make me so low on energy in the day. will see how it goes and my be in tame just take 25mg trepiline p/d.

I. Live in South. Africa. And have been prescibed. Tripilene. For. My spastic. Colol (IBS) as well . Doc. Said tripilene would calm the colon and relax me . But what I read. Here sounds like its only for depression. I am 59 years old and female

i use trepiline25mg at night for 15 years for my headaches. now i stop using it for 9 days because my legs start swallen. i dont know if it is the trepiline. now for a whole week i was dying from headache, and cant sleep. what can i do. i also use thyroid pills and cholestrol pills

I just don't seem to be able to sleep at night, I am somewhat elderly, never the less I believe that I should enjoy some sleep! My doctor has given me Trepline 10mg, it worked the first night, second night somewhat less, third night absolutely no sleep! Then I was put onto 30mg Trepline (3x10mg tabs) exactly the same pattern as the 10mg first night good, second progressively worse till no sleep! Where do I go from here? A little help from somebody please, the more deperate I get the less I sleep, will continuation with the tablets make sleep easier?

The doctor prescribed me trepiline almost 30 days ago, as well as an additional sleeping tablet for 10 days. I studied all the feedback below. I don't really feel any side effects. I also don't even feel tired when I take it. However, the spams in my back feel much more relaxed. I actually want to ask my doctor if I can continue using this product for longer. From reading the below, the only side affect that I also experience (and I only realised it now), is my joints are a bit more sensitive. specially with gymming etc.

I have fibromyalgia, frozen shoulder at times due to spasms in shoulders and neck which lead to severe headaches, i take zolpidem sleeping tablet and now also 10mg trepeline, is this safe? I still find difficulty in sleeping. I also take Celebrex doe inflammation.

I am a Diabetic. I have severe pain in neck and shoulders. Doctor says as a result of whiplash on about three occasions in my lifetime.....Tennis/cricket ball type of bulge on right upper arm and cannot sleep on right arm. On Cellebrex 200mg twice a day and Doctor says very high dosage. I am totally opposed to anti-depressants or sleeping pills - totally - he says Trepilene 10 mg per night will relax the muscles and after four days I will have settled. I just have this total aversion to sleeping pills or antidepressants. I am not a depressed type really not - in fact a very positive chirpy person with good morals and principles.

Been on half trepiline (blue tablet) at night for migraines for 12 years. I stopped taking it a week ago due to severe hair loss, and weight gain. Since then I have developed a headache and my head is feeling disconnected from the rest of me. Is this a sign of withdrawal symptoms? TIA
