Round white pill with fancy R and 439 on back. ## It is a 50 mg Trazodone (Purepac Pharm) ## The information that Vernon provided is correct, although this is now manufactured by Actavis. I live in a dry house. 3 days ago I got a random drug test. It came back positive for MDMA. Is this possible when I’m taking 300mg of Trazodone and 50mg of Phenergan? ## Trazodone's active and primary metabolite is meta-Chlorophenylpiperazine (mCPP), a drug that is sometimes used as an ingredient in formulations of X. The mCPP is probably what triggered the false positive.

## I've been taking this pill which i was told would help me sleep. They're Trazodone HCL 50mg tabs. It says on the bottle that it's for insomnia. Is this a sleeping pill and what does it do? Does this pill work immediately as u take it or do u have to take it on a regular nightly basis to get the drug in ur system to work for ur insomnia? ## Hello, JJ! How are you? I have been taking 200mg of Trazodone since February and although I noticed an immediate improvement in my mood I think I'm struggling now with side effects although my doctor said they should have worn off by now. I find that I'm constantly shaky inside, feel cold most of the time, frequently feel ill, very irritable and general feeling of not coping. Any thoughts welcome. ## Hello, Fiona! How are you? My pharmacy changed manufacturers of trazodone from Apo T150 to Qualitest brand. First problem is that it doesn't work. It took 3 hours to finally doze off, and 30 minutes later I woke up thinking I was choking, but actually had severe dry mouth and after 1/2 bottle of water it is getting a little better. Is this manufacturer change due to Medicare changes, or pharmacy (Walgreens) changes? Well today I tested positive for benzodizepines I am in pain management and my Dr. Said h is sending my urine for further testing. I am not taking benzodizepines can you tell me if what I am taking could be causing a false test? I take trazodone, methocarbamol, morphine, celebrex, gabapentin, methadone, vyvance, metoprolol, furosemide, estradiol, diphenhydramine, a multivitamin, cranberry, b super maxi complex, zinc, potassium gluconate, vitamin d3, biotin, C, and E, loratadine what ever on sale for seasonal allergy's, modafinil besides the vitamins I don't take all of these every day only as needed. Please let me know thanks so much. ## The Benadryl seems to be the most common factor will all take !

I was given a RX for a mild sleeping pill Trazodone 50 MG. I have tried taking one as prescribed occassionally and it keeps me up all night. Then the next day I feel fatigued and have a headache. They are white round pills with a line down the center on one side and tthe other side has letters PLIVA AND THE #433 ON THE SIDE. Couldn't find it in the PDR. ## The tablet marked PLIVA 433 does contain 50mgs of Trazodone, however, it is not actually a sleeping pill. Trazodone is an SARI antidepressant, which can cause some drowsiness as a side effect, but it will not actually work like regular sleeping pills. its a round white pill on one side it say's MP 168 and on the other side it is split in to forths two parts say 25 and the other two say 50 ## The tablet with the NP 168 marking is manufactured by Sun Pharmaceuticals and they list it as containing 150mgs of Trazodone, which is used to treat depression and some sleep disorders.
