angikay- KTherapy only takes CC i believe., the shipping costs are on the very last page when u complete your order. It $35 overnite... and reg $5 for 2 day shipping. Theyre in CA and ive found the overnite USPS doesnt pay off. It still took 2 days because Im in NY. now depending where u live it may only take overnite to get it to u, but i find im ok with the 2day priority for $5. I would call when u place the order. being its ur 1st order with them, u may want to anyway to ask them how much they would recommend, I HAVENT taken their extract because i found THE EXTRACT in general is way to strong, so i prefer the caps. HOPE IT HELPS..feel free to ask me anything further....also if ur ordering TRAM international Id love to know who u get urs thru....i left u my email....just pan down a few post and u can reply from that

Hi all! I've been following this thread for a while.. Reading everything but comment very little :). Anyway, I'm in Colorado and usually only have to order my tram once or twice a year. I'm a pain pt. and see my dr every month. So I only use online medals for a day or 2 if I e run out before the appt. and lucky me... I've run out. My appt is tomorrow... But I took my last one around 2pm today. So far I'm fine... Tonight and tomorrow I'm preparing to be sick... Since I'm a chaparone on my kids field trip tomorrow.. I can't be sick. Just went to the hedge shop and purchased Bali kratom. I took 3 with juice. I'm a little freaked out.., ugh.. I've never tried it before!!!

NMO.... I've been reading the reviews on "that site" and they sound really good. Did you receive samples from them when you received your package in the mail? Sounds like they give out a decent amount w/your order.

ctr- im so glad that Kratom helped you and that u only have to wait a day to get better relief. thats exactly how i rely on Kratom as well. ANGIKAY- this will be a long post :: KT have a sample pack....but u have to call and ask for it. they dont show it on their website. and as i said its about 15 pills each of each of their strands, to find whats best for each person is why they offer it. its $27...and u get a total of 75pills i think...but its the smaller pills so u really have to take more...so they dont last...and in my experience it does take Kratom a day or 2 of taking the same strand to notice the complete effect of it working well. Ok so this is my routine...and this is for ME ONLY...im not suggesting anyone else follow whats best for me. So AngiKay I usually order the Premium Bali 1200 caps from KT. For what ever reason all the other strands dont work as well or make me tired. I have now cut down to taking my trusty TRAMS on my bad days or at night since i get the most pain when i lay down... so on the off days, I take 2-3 Bali caps in the morning with orangejuice or grapefruit juice. those 3 pills usually last me a good 4-6hrs. and I have a HIGH opiate tolerance. at dinner time -8pm ill take maybe 2more, 3 if its a bad day and that really gets me thru the night. Ive been taking it for quite some time and i feel the best ive felt in years. Now i cant say its because im taking KRATOM, but I believe that ive cut the TRAMS down, and not abused them. Its been HARD bcuz I love my Tramadol, and it really helps with pain...but i was starting to become immune to it...and my body was really suffering from longterm Tram usage. ANGIKAY if u find the EXTRACT is too strong, or it may give you one of those "opiate-type headaches" i suggest the caps maybe. EVERYONE IS DIFFERENT...AND KRATOM EFFECTS EVERYONE DIFFERENT...JUST REMEMBER LIKE I SAID B4....SLOW AND CAUTIOUS! AND THIS IS WHERE U CAN REACH ME AT ANGIKAY just add it together ok? n m o 1 0 2 2 @ o u t l o o k (then add the . com at the end)

oh and ANGIKAY- more about those sample packs... when u order, u can prob ask them about getting a free sample of the Bali. just tell them that u may end up ordering it in the future, if the EXTRACT doesnt agree with u. theyll prob send u a sample with your extract order. theyre pretty nice about that. JUST REAL GOOD PEEPS. hope that answered ur question :)

NMO, I'm speaking on experience as a student doctor in the ER, along with experience as an EMT and working in the ER previously when I reference Kratom withdrawal and overdose. There just isn't enough information on it because medical studies haven't been done on this drug, so I'm not sure which articles you read. However, in the medical journals im privvy to reading at my med school's library, it is not highly regarded in the medical community, and there have been kratom deaths due to toxicity, and the particular case I read about in depth involved a 17 year old who did not take a massive dose. Other articles chronicle the dangerous abuse potential and the painful itch drawl that we do see in the ER. Some have said the addiction is worse that that of OxyContin and other schedule 2 narcotics, but that's relative. I'm just saying it is NOT a miracle drug and has more risks than people think. The people suffering in the ER are very real and not that rare anymore. All drugs do have risks, yes. But the drugs that are prescribed for pain have been the subject of many controlled medical studies, and studied at great length. Kratom has not been. That makes its risk increase.

I have to add that, in the medical community, kratom is considered a type of marijuana alternative and grouped together with bath salts and salvia, which we now know are dangerous and have no therapeutic value. Although kratom may inhibit withdrawal from narcotics, it is still an unknown and it's a bigger risk to take an addictive drug that has had very little to no published medical research performed on it than it would be to take an addictive pain medication prescribed by a physician. Any of these sites can say their kratom is natural as well, but there's no FDA regulation there, so they can cut it with anything they want to cut cost for themselves. I'm truly glad you found a good solution for your pain, but be prepared for this substance to be made illegal, which is likely to happen in the near future. I personally think that the risk is too high at this point, but of course I can't make anyone else substitute my judgement for their own. Just don't believe that it has less risk than prescription pain killers, because it's not true.

One thing I forgot to add: kratom is already illegal in some countries, like Sweden. It was becoming a big trend there, and when 9 deaths were documented in Sweden alone, it's sale was shut down. This is many doctors' goal for the US also, because of the increased number of overdose/withdrawal cases they see in the ER. Most people think its relatively harmless, but if you look at the most reputable medical journals, it's just not the case. I'm not saying its as dangerous as something like heroin- that's obviously too overblown. But it has this stigma as being a safe "miracle drug" for people going through opiate withdrawal or even just for an energy boost, and it's a dangerous mistake to believe that.

Ive been reading posts here for a while. I havent spoken up for fear of rejection or someone giving me the boot, but for the fisrt time I must add my 2 cents. Im a 48 year old VET. I suffer from pain, among 50,000 other disorders. Ive had brothers close to me die in ODing on OXY, others hooked on Ultram, Hydo..and the list goes on. Not this is directed to BRIM.... and this is NOT to impend you high knowledge of medicine...but personally I dont agree with your comments about KRATOM. Now thats just my opionion...ive been using Kratom since 1994. I regulate my intake and i have stopped using on several occasions. Ive had no issues...now thats just me, but also my military brothers have now been weened off OXY in favor of reulated KRATOM and they too are havig better results...NOW, I ONCE AGAIN STATE THIS IS OUR EXPERIENCE. IF YOU RESEARCH KRATOM, YOU WILL SEE ITS BEEN AROUND FOR AGES, JUST AS WEED. SO WHEN THESE RISKS WILL START HAPPENING IS NEWS TO ME. BUT THEN AGAIN I AGREE WITH NMO IN SAYING THAT MAYBE KRATOM ISNT FOR EVERYONE, AND I DONT THINK FROM WHAT I READ ON THESE POSTS THAT NMO IS PROMOTING IT IN ANYWAY, BUT SIMPLY GIVING ANOTHER REMEDY TO HELP WITH PAIN. I just font agree with you ER Med Student or not, that Kratom is just as dangerous as OXY. If it is, the wool has certainly been pulled over my eyes, and I would ove to know that in all the years Kratom has been use, why hasnt it been more reported in OD cases, or severe W/D cases. I just don see it. Im sorry. I blieve the article Nmo was speaking of was the one thats posted on KUN's site about Med Journal Study thru TIME mag.

I did not say kratom was more dangerous than oxy, anywhere. And again, just because you have had no problems, does not mean this is a safe alternative. You have not seen the cases I have. If yu had, you may change your mind. I know you feel very defensive when someone is trying to tell you something you take is dangerous when you thought it wasn't, but the proof is in the actually medical journals chronicling the abuse of the drug. If you take it in moderation, small doses, and not every day, you will likely not suffer any of the more severe side effects. Ask any doctor if they think kratom is a good substitute for pain meds, or a good substance to ween off of other drugs. They will agree with the evidence that it's safety is completely up in the air. Again, ALL I am saying is that this is not a totally safe drug, which NMO agreed with. I have only stated facts, so don't kill the messenger. I'm sorry, but what you are taking has many risks and being unresearched, it IS considered dangerous.

Levi... don't stress about being rejected on this forum. You wont be at all. I felt the same way at the beginning, but this one's really mature and offers good advise. I too was a major methadone, heroin, and oxi user (n abuser), and until just recently ( two yrs. ago) I started taking tramadol, but found that withdrawals are almost worse with tram. then the other heavy narcotics. I started taking them in the first place bec. I suffer from degenerative disc. decease, and sciatica. So, until just about a mth. or so ago I found out about Kratom, and I used it for the first time a wk. ago and I loved it! I am thinking about switching to it instead of tramadol, bec. I for one cannot afford them and for two, the wd's are horrendous! It feels good to see someone who has been using Kratom for some time now give his opinion and his take on it. Thanks.

Also, LevyHDR: my post was not my opinion of kratom. It was solely a statement of documented facts. So what is it you disagree with? Someone can take a drug forever and not suffer negative effects. That does not mean someone else won't take a therapeutic dose and die from it. Believe me, people taking small doses of kratom with their regular small dose of benzos have dies after using both the same way for an extended period of time. So, you can go in thinking its safe because you haven't seen it do harm, but the facts state that it can and does do harm to others. There are mothers of kids who died from adverse reactions or toxicity of kratom who can tell you it's not safer than any painkiller you can get from a doctor.

Brim. Thanks for the info. you are providing and I plan to look up the articles on Kratom. I did in fact plan on taking it carefully and with moderation. I want to be safe. I was wondering, if someone is going threw wd's ( I am right now), what can they take for pain n symptoms that they can purchase right away that isn't to expensive. I know about immodium, so is there anything that'll help the wd's n pain. Thank you.

If you are thinking of replacing narcotics or tramadol with kratom, and you have had addiction problems in the past, I urge you to reconsider. The withdrawals from kratom are pretty awful, and the addiction can present very quickly. If you use it in small doses, and do not take it every day, chances are you will be able to get some benefit from it. But if you do take more tramadol than prescribed, and feel addiction is an ongoing problem, kratom will not be helpful- it will just replace one addiction with another, and one problem with kratom withdrawal is that we don't really know how to treat it. We aren't going to give you kratom in the ER, so when a person withdrawing from kratom comes in, the relief we can provide is minimal, if any. I know people who use it love it and want it to be very safe, but if you do further research on kratom abuse, addiction and deaths, the results can be pretty scary. I'm not telling you not to touch it or to go back to schedule 2 narcotics if you don't need them, but I will say that it's not an answer to tramadol addiction. It has helped many people ween off, but if you plan to use it daily, you just develop another addiction.

LevyHDR: it's easy to find the severe withdrawal and OD cases. Just google them. While you're at it, google "kratom deaths". You'll find that the number of deaths in Sweden led to the country banning the sale of kratom, which is now the goal if the FDA in the US. There have been PLENTY of deaths, overdoses with nasty side effects and severe withdrawal. No one has pulled the wool over your eyes- its not a widely known drug, with a small minority of the population ever using it, so less people suffer the adverse effects from it. It's simple. You can not believe the published medical reports, autopsy reports and cases I've seen with my own eyes personally, but that doesn't make them go away. I'm sorry, but the articles are readily available.
