Just don't use it for long term use. 5 days is max in a row. ## What is Suboxone all prescribed for? I know its for coming of opiates but what else? Because I know some ppl that get them and I know they were never on any sorta drug. Does anyone know? ## Toradol contains the active ingredient Ketorolac, this is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory, so yes, as long as your doctor has okayed it, it can be used with Suboxone or other narcotics. I was recently hospitalized for a bowel resection and given toradol for pain, I became confused and almost paranoid and also developed urinary retention. I had been given phenotiazine related drugs before and developed these same symptoms and wondered if there were a connection. I also had difficulty walking alone, was very unsteady on my feet to the point that I had a bed alarm applied to my bed. I have almost no memory of this hospital stay and have received most information from my husband and sisters again a similar connection to the other experience. I had a dilaudid pca also but rarely used this according to my famioly who were with me at all times except from about 10 pm to8 am. I do remember being very upset about the bed alarm and also once after asking for a sleeping pill and ...

Is 2mg morphine, 60 mg toradol, 4mg zofran and 25 mg phenergan (all injections) given to a 36 y/o female weighing 190lbs a high dosage? ## Got the shots last came home and within two hours it was back I woke up this morning with one again even my eyes and into my cheek hurt . I hurt so bad it's hard to comprehend what others say and I'm n/v and had to call into work(I don't call in). I called my dr he's not there so should I go back to er or just let this pass ## That doesn’t sound like a high dose. I am a 100 lb female and that’s usually what they give me in the ER, though I usually end up needing another dose of morphine before the end. ## Does your doctor have you on a migraine preventative medication? Prevention generally works better than trying to get r...

I was given a generic toradol 10 mg from a friend for when I sprained my hand. My question is what are the effects of this pill? e.i. Hydrocodone seems to speed some people up, vicodin makes people drowsy, tramadol speeds some people up. I just want to know how it will affect me once I take it, whether morning or bedtime would be the best time to take this if there is any effect. ## There is really no way for anyone else to know how it is going to affect you. However, Toradol contains the active ingredient Ketorolac, which is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory and not a narcotic. Its normal side effects can include: nausea, headache, dizziness and stomach irritation. Learn more: Are there any other questions or comments? ## Can anyone please tell me how much a Toradol shot costs?

will toradol show up in a urine drug test, even with gmcs testing? ## If they were to test for it, it would. Ketorolac (Toradol) is a is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) and not a controlled substance so "most" urine drug screens "probably" will not test for it. More information about this drug can be viewed in the link below: Do you have any other questions or comments concerning this drug? Please post back if you do. ## If urine is mailed to a lab for testing, do they check for Toradol?

prescribed for headaches and tooth pain, works well but what's in it? ## I was wondering if you can tell me if supradol is a strrong narcotic? My fiance went to get dentures in Mexico and they prescribed him this medication. Thank you ## No, this is not a narcotic at all. The American equivelent to Supradol would be Toradol, which is just a strong anti-inflammatory. ## just today i had dental work done in mexico: an extraction and an implant and was prescribed supradol and clendix. I took one pill of each as prescribed and now have a lump on my left (same side as the dental work) quadracept which feels and looks like a muscle spasm. any comments? ## I had a tooth pulled and an implant placed. I am having pain. The dentist said to get suprodol but it's not cutting it. Can I take ...

I have been taking Toradol 10 mg every day for the last week and am wondering how long till it is out of your system? ## Toradol contains the active ingredient Ketorolac, which is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory, so it won't be tested for on a drug test, if that's what you're worried about. It has a relatively short half-life and should be out of your system in 48 to 72 hours. Common side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, headache and stomach irritation. ## I took a Toradol on Friday before my dressing change and this is Sunday & I have been nauseated for 3 days & have no appetite. How long before the nausea sub-sides? Does anyone know? My email is [email protected] [1] if someone has any answers. Thank you! [1] Editor's note - in order to protect privacy, ...

Toradol caused the worst stomach pain and diarrhea. The pain in my stomach was awful. I had went to the doctor and got this medication for a bad headache. Never again will I take this medicine. ## I am very sorry about the symptoms you experienced, that is always a risk with any medication. The FDA lists other typical ones for Toradol as possibly including nausea, dizziness, and drowsiness. How are you doing, now? Has there been any change?

Hi. I am a 61 year old male with a history of asthma and an MI 15 years ago. I had a kidney stone this week and went to the hospital. They gave me two successive ivs of toradol (pain continued after first) along with 4 liters of saline iv. The stone passed into my bladder and my pain relented. After discharge they gave me a prescription for toradol tabs and flowmax. I noticed the first day that my breathing was shallow and I was out of breath with the least exertion. Steroids and salmeterol didn't help my breathing much. I thought it was an aftereffect of the kidney stones until I read toradol side effects. Now 24 hours after I stopped taking Toradol I am still short of breath. How long can I expect this to continue? ## Hello, John! How are you? Are you still taking the Flowmax? Acc...

I'm a soon to be 47yr old with chronic back and neck pain. So far this year ive had 2-3 flare ups in my lower back, unable to barely dress myself. I went into my doctors and she had given me a 60mg inj. of ketorolac but almost 28hrs later I still have no relief from this inj. I'm already on 60mg oxytocins twice daily plus 10/325 Percocets and nothing is relieving any of my pain and I can't keep living like this. She wants to do an MRI a month from now and I so can't wait that long with the pain level I'm at. I just don't know what to do especially with these drug seeking people out in this world that prevent people who really need help from getting it. I just don't know what to do!

I never have. I don't know why it came out but I need to find out. please help. ## Quite possibly flexeril (cycloBENZAPRINE) I dont know for sure, just a theory based on its chemical composition. ## Im having the same problem. I was hurt at work and went to a walk-in clinic before my next shift. My employer thought I was acting loopy and wanted a urine sample but after 2 hours I couldn't provide one. They said. It was a refusal. Which it wasn't I did try. Is it possible with all I was on that it impaired me?

I am a 51 yr. old female and I have been diagnosed with Metabolic myopathy and I have also had back surgery. I live with constant muscle and back pain. What I find hard to believe is that some people seem to get meds so easily and the people that need them the most can't. I live in a moderately sized town in MI and our local hospital is like the medical mafia. It is beyond ridiculous, they have every doctor in this town under their thumb and terrified to write a script for pain meds, even though I have my medical and pharmacy records. I am so pissed. I have been unable to work for almost 2 years have been through my life savings and I am now dead broke. My Doctor retired, no one took over his practice and to make matters worse for the last month I have been so sick I am barely able ...

My brain zaps started out two years ago when I was taken to the emergency room for a severe migraine and a kidney infection. I was given a shot of Toradol and immediately knew I'd been given too much. Within a week, I started experiencing cranial zaps that escalated in numbers and would hit at any given time with no particular trigger. My doctor dismissed these as not real and put me on 40mg Citalopram. The zaps continued so I went to a neurologist, was diagnosed with slight swelling in my brain and put on 3400mg daily of Gabapentin. The combination of both medications did stop the zaps for a short period of about two months but they came back. So it was back to the doctors for help but all they wanted to do was keep raising my doses of medication which I firmly believe was making m...

I was given Toradol and went into renal failure. Has anyone heard of that? ## Yikes! I was researching Toradol because I've had some minor renal issues since my arm fracture and surgery. (I was also taking lots of ibuprofen before and after the surgery, so the Toradol may have just been the straw that broke the camel's back). Kidney failure IS one of the potential side effects of NSAID use, but dunno how common it is for short term administration of Toradol. ## It really depends on how the individual's body processes the drugs. Some people can take a drug for a long time, with no ill effects and others can suffer hepatic or renal failure after just a short time. Usually, there are other factors involved, such as past drugs used that have had ill effects on the renal or hepat...
