I have been to the dentist got sent home with Clindamycin but I also have a sinus infection, asthma and panic attacks. Is this safe for me to take 300 mg 4times a day? And will it work for both infections?

It is an antibiotic, so it may help with both infections, the best thing you can do is try it and see.

However, it generally isn't recommended for people that suffer from asthma.

Learn more Clindamycin details here.

Thus, I'd suggest you contact your dentist or doctor about an alternative antibiotic.

What do you use to treat your asthma?

I have COPD and my dentist just put me on cindamyacin 300mg 4 times daily for 7 days for an infected wisdom tooth. He was unaware of my breathing problem. I have been on it for 3 days, should I discontinue and contact my primary care doctor?

I was given Erythromycin in the ER for a tooth abscess, sore throat and neck. Then I was prescribed Clindamycin 300mg every six hours. I was also written a prescription for Penicillin 500mg every 6 hours. The Clindamycin after a full day or 3 capsules has not lessened the pain. Can I switch to the Penicillin without risk? Or should I wait for 24hrs before changing?

My tooth is broken and I'm in so much pain. It has a big whole in the middle and I can't eat cause the food goes in, causing my head and ear to hurt. Can I take levofloxacin 750mg for a tooth infection?
