Titanium Dioxide Poisoning? (Page 2)

Updated

I have been unsuccessful as yet in finding information about titanium dioxide overload. I have been taking a variety of medications that contain T.D. And seem to have become "overloaded" with it. Med's that previously were not of bother now mysteriously cause a variety of disturbing & dangerous side effects. When taking anything containing T. D. I become lethargic (To the point of waiting until the last minute to do basic life-needs), experience body-wide excruciating aches & pains & generally feel like I am dying. Last winter I began to feel like this increasingly without knowing the problem. One day I watched a report on Oxycontin, which I was taking for chronic pain, where the mother of a young man taking it for pain described his deterioration as if she were talking about me. unfortunately this led to his death. Of course I called my doc immediately to discontinue. As I began trying other long-acting options, I would improve for a week or 2 and then decline in the same manner. I decided to look into the common ingredients of all these meds & found it to be T.D. Once I found that my break-thru meds did not contain T.D. I began using those as my primary pain-killers & discontinued all others containing T.D. Magically, I began to feel human again & all of the side-effects have disappeared. In addition, the horrendous acne, bloating, etc has also alleviated plus I have lost 20 of the 50 pounds gained without changing anything but the meds. I must add that I have an allergy to metal, which could be the reason for my sensitivity (although i took the same meds for years, I believe it became built-up in my system). My doc put me on the Fentanyl patch when trying alternative options, which resulted in the same negative reaction experienced with the Oxy, in a matter if minutes...unfortunately the side-effects continued to escalate for 22 hrs despite removing the patch after 8 hrs. After digging deeply on the net I discovered that the metal on the inside of the patch packaging can leech into the patch & cause negative effects for those allergic to metal. If there is anyone out there who has had the same experience or can confirm these side-effects as relating to T.D. Please post. I have scoured the net for months but can only find info on negative effects if T.D. In relation to inhalation. Any response is a welcome one, thank-you for providing a site for which to post my query.

There is such a thing as an allergy to Titanium Dioxide. I also found out there is a test for it, but it costs $2500.00! I have always been allergic to it, but didn't know it until I developed all 4 symptoms of having a carcinoid tumor. I was unable to get out of bed without passing out. My doctor could not figure it out, until he prescribed me an anti-vomiting medication. I became even more sick, if you can imagine. So I thought back and consulted with family to make sure I remembered correctly, but traced each incident of my worsening condition to medications prescribed to me for Fibromyalgia, as some of you have as well. My doctor, at first didn't believe me, but in exasperation, told me if I truly believe that it was the medications then I should quit taking them. So I did. Within 1 month of eliminating all sources of TiO2 I was completely better, except for the Fibromyalgia. There is a way to "fix" allergies. This method of treating allergies is called NAET (you can get information about this from naet.com). I found out in my early 20's that I was allergic to eggs. I had ear infections and sinus infections when I ate them. I stopped eating eggs after that, for more than 20 years. I saw a naturopathic doctor, who I didn't tell which allergies I had, and she named every one of them, plus some I didn't know about! After treating me for egg allergy, I was able to eat eggs again. The more allergies she treated, the less I suffered from Fibromyalgia. I will say that I continued to suffer, but it was almost to the point to where I was considering returning to work. Unfortunately, I have developed some other health problems and the Fibromyalgia has worsened again, so I couldn't go back to work. I would recommend anyone with allergies tho try this.

If you are looking for medication's with NO Titanium Dioxide in them, you have to ask the Pharmacist and they will look it up and tell you if it contains it or not. Usually, not always, capsule form of medications contain it while tablet forms do not. There are also Cosmetics that you can order with NO Titanium dioxide in them; try ReJuva Minerals. I now read everything I eat and put on my body to try to eliminate T.D. from my life!

An up date to myTD problems. Every 30 days I have my blood tested for CRP (C- Reactive Protein) and Sed Rate to measure my inflamatory condition. 1.0 max for CRP and 15 for SED rate. Most of the time I'm under the Max. Time to Time my CRP goes to 2.9 and Sedrate to 21. Something is still cooking somewhere. My prednisone dosage varies from 5 mg to 2.5 mg. Interesting note in 2015 I found on the Internet that 24 States had BANNED Titanium Dioxide for human consumption and contact. Today I can find NO MENTION of that anywhere. The internet has PURGED It.I have avoided Simvastatin and plaquenil for 2 years because of all the Pharm's make it with TD.I found a Drug Co that compound those drugs with out TD FOR $265.00 for a 30 day Prescrip each. To bad we can't get "THEM" to pay for it.

I found my TD free cosmetics at ReJuvaMinerals; you can ask the pharmacist to check your medications being prescribed for you and try to find brands that don't have TD in them. Some of mine that are TD free come from MYLAND mfg. Most capsule forms have it in them so try tablet forms. Sometimes you have to actually change the prescription name to get one that does not contain TD in it. Most antibiotics are full of it! Read all labels, remember TD is a whitener/ brightener and also used as an oil form. You'll find it in Sunscreen, makeup, foods, medications, toothpaste and much much more! Best wishes!

Re: PJG (# 23) Expand Referenced Message

On August 22nd I sent the Sec of HHS Dr. Tom Price- 200 Independence AVE-HHH Bldg-Room 639 G-Wash. DC 20101 a supporting package with my problems with Titanium Dioxide. My closing line was TD has no value to the Human body in terms of FOOD, Nutrients, support features, or anything else..The body cannot deal with TD as it can't dissolve it, dilute it, burn it up or digest it. Pharmacutical's manufacture meds to get you better not to make you sick or give you problems you didn't have before. Please, Please a lot of us are wanting you to BAN TiTanium Dioxide from our Meds and our foods...Let him know how you feel about all of this...

Re: PJG (# 25) Expand Referenced Message

I heard from the HHS group: "Sorry to hear about your illness. Continue working with your Doctor. Scientific Research has shown that Titanium Dioxide can be used in the variety of products you mentioned per FDA." Have a nice day. They didn't hear a word I said!!! Don't know what to do now. Thought I had an air tight package. Any suggestions?

My doctor had me take an ELIZA test which tests lymphocyte reactions. Titanium dioxide was one of my severe triggers. It's really difficult to find medications, makeup, and personal care products without TD.
