Testopel Pellets

This is my third round of Testopel. by far the best way to get Testosterone.

Several things bothering me:
My doctor refuses to treat other side effects of T supplementation, namely Estrogen. I asked him to do estrodiol test after the recent round. My levels were very high. I do not know why he will not prescribe an aromatase inhibitor.

Secondly, I have had bad acne this time around. I kept getting big blemishes on my face that would not go away. I also have a lot on the back of my neck. I also sleep lightly and wake up frequently during the night. I also get night sweats.

Otherwise I feel great and am getting stronger while working out at the gym 5 days per week.

All of these symptoms can be common side effects of any type of hormone replacement therapy.

And the problem with prescribing something else, to treat the side effects of one medication, is that they all also carry the risk of side effects, so this usually just ends up compounding the problem.

Is you're not happy with the way this doctor is handling your issues, you do always have the option of seeing a different doctor.

How has this effect your relationship with your wifes are girl friends. How long before you was wanting to have sex again. Did this make you want to be around her more.

I initially had trouble with high estrogen levels but after about 6 months my body adjusted itself and hadnt had the high estrogen levels since (more then a year and a half). You did not say what your T-Level was but it sounds like it could be too high. Some men are fine with 450-650 range and any higher is too much resulting in side effects such as what you are describing. Others need to be 800 - 1000 before they feel "normal" and have no side effects at that higher level. Is your doctor adjusting the levels or sticking witht he same number of pellets?

You need an estrogen blocker, anastrazole, chrysin, etc. plus some med such as clomiphene to prevent testicular shrinkage. Not good with small testicles.

Just curious, yesterday I had my first testopel pellets implanted, ten. I feel fine, but noticed throughout today my urine is a dark yellow. I called the Dr. and she said don't worry, it couldn't be the pellets because they were put in the previous afternoon. My response was I don't believe in coincidences. I have never had dark urine and it seems strange that it happened right after the pellets are inserted.

Anyone had the same problem? I have RA and PSA and take my Stelara shot in five days. I pay close attention to any changes in my body and I've never had dark yellow urine.
