Testopel - Considering; Several Questions

Updated

Hey guys,
Lived with Low T for 30+ years. I'm 55. Libido is low, fatigued, fat, sleep disorders...
Doc is going to give me the Testopel treatment for Hypogonadism (pituitary and testes problems).
Questions I have:
1) Will libido improve? I'm reading posts that it worsens. Why is this - doesn't seem logical?
2) Any increase in energy and overall physical performance?
3) Muscle gain and fat loss associated with it or not?
Thanks all...

The non-improvement to the libido can be normal and usually only lasts for a few weeks, it's generally just due to your body getting used to the new hormone level.

Yes, there can be an increase in energy and performance, as well as muscle gain and some loss in body fat, but it really works the same as the above, there may not be any immediate change, but eventually things should improve.

Learn more Testopel details here.

There have been posts from men that have had great results from using Testopel and some that didn't, which is the same as any other drug on the market, they never work for everyone.

Are there any other questions?

Anyone with experience that can provide advice?

Thanks - that's helpful to know.
I just got a script for Viagra. I took it recreationally in the 90s - today, I took half - barely worked - so I'm hoping to boost the sex drive and benefit from all the other benefits.
I read on the label that hepatitis is a warning side effect. I'm a recovering alcoholic (7 years) but drank pretty heavily for 25+ years so I'm wondering if I'm at risk for any liver problems.
I had a hep C vaccination for work - not sure if that matters.
Anyway - thanks for the feedback!

Just got my testopel pellets yesterday. After reading all the posts here was a little scared of the procedure. It was so easy. I used a urologist over a endocrinologist because the uro was a surgeon and felt he would be better at inserting the pellets. One thing I can advise is ice after the procedure. Ice every 1//2 hour in the first 24 hrs helps with the soreness. It's the next day and feel no pain at all. Do not read all these bad post on hear and let them scare you. It's really a easy procedure to do

I also was diagnosed with low T and I pretty much tried everything out there. Until I tried tesopel. This changed my life in general, so let the medicine work and yes it kicks in immediately, but you won't feel the full impact until the second time around. Midway through second implant you will feel a definite difference. The trick is do not stress and let the medicine work the sooner the better. Once testopel kicks in ED meds are history. (54 yr old)

I'm right at 92 days of my first round of Tesoptel, (10 pellets). I definatly felt a difference within 2 days of the instertions. I believe they are starting to wear off but i'm not sure.. My mood has changed slightly, irritable and short tempered, my energy level dropped off very quickly the past couple of days and my errections are not nearly as hard, also my sex drive in gengeral has decreased over teh past week. I thought i might just have a cold but I don't thnk so.. I still have to use a small dose of Viargra occationally I'm going to call my uroligist monday but was curious about your comment about round 2 of the pellets.. Do you feel more energy and does the erectile problem go completally away? Any more detail would be great please.. thank you

Had first dose in May and went from T level about 140 to 880 four weeks after insertion. Biggest difference has been energy and concentration levels. Maybe a small increase in libido, but that wasn't too much of a problem before. Still taking half a Levitra - not totally necessary, but seems helpful. Was sore at insertion point for about a week or ten days, but not too big a deal. I probably should have iced it more the day of the surgery. Maybe feeling a bit leaner, dropped a couple of pounds, but can't say for sure that is due to treatment. I'm concerned about some signs of enlarged prostate - seem to be waking up most nights to go - and will discuss with doctor at next appointment in a few weeks. Again, the biggest improvement is in energy and focus and that has had a big impact. Age 54.

I just had my 2nd dose. The first lasted just over three months, than I could feel the drop of energy and all the other signs of low T. With both the first and 2nd insertions I used a urologist. Have little pain, an great results. My T levels were in the 150 range prior to the first dose, at two months they were at 480, and dropped to under 300 at 4 months. The doctor shifted me from 4 months t 3 months next time. I feel much better when T levels are higher, the 480 was OK, but would like to see it in the 600 to 800 level. This is a positive life change for me with little or no negatives and lots of positives.

You're libido will increase. Can't say much about energy or muscle tone. On it 2 yrs. Expensive. ..

With the first round I had great energy levels, libido also improved, as did my mood. Over the 4 months I lost ten pounds. Not on diet, but activity levels increased and weight just dropped off slowly. One other thing I noticed was my joints seem to be working better. They still get sour, but the change is enough to make me notice, and when my levels dropped the joints also started hurting again. I have not seen it listed, might be because most people have not run their knees into the ground. Moods also changed for the better. It seemed at the 150 T level I just did not care about anything, at 480 I quite biting peoples heads off. My sleep cycle with the testopel is also better. In the last few weeks with levels below 300 my wake / sleep cycle was all screwed up. I would wake up four or five times a night. with the 480 T level I would sleep all night. The lack of sleep may be the reason why my moods were so bad. With the 2nd round in place for a day now I can say the pain would be a 1 on a 10 point scale. I forget it is there unless I reach around and feel it. In a few days, if it is like the last round, I should start feeling the energy rise again. It is the best thing I have done for myself in a long time.

Day 3 of 2nd dose of testopel. I started sleeping better on day 2. I also noticed morning wood on day 2. Mood coming back in line with accepted needs. The injection site never hurt. Now feels normal. My Dr. Places the pellet high on the hip, and both times it has been no higher than a 1 on a ten point scale. I have 12 pellet s and my cycle was changed from once every 4 months to once every 3 months. I love the way they make me feel. Gives you your life back!

I'm hoping for the same. I'm 35 yrs old, and have always had symptoms of low T since a child, but was not diagnosed until this year. Gels didn't work. I'm on my 2nd day of Testopel. Hoping for the best!

I crossed the year mark on this cycle. As a youth I did not have an issue with low T. might have been the opposite as I look back on it. The drop came in my 40's, and when I started Testopel I was in the 55 to 150 range. After a year I have lost body fat, regained my energy levels (which has helped with the body fat), added muscle mass, and increase my libido. It covered the list of things I wanted. I get 12 pellets every three months. I think my range runs from 500 to 800, but on the last cycle I was tested on the 2 month period and I was 509. The other cycles test have been within a week of 3 months. They run in the mid to low 300 range. I can feel it when it hits that level. The best part of the Testopel is the reduction of not depression, but something close to it. I have lost the I don't give a damn attitude. Hope it works for you as well as it has for me.
