I am 56 year old diabetes patient. Currently suffering from IBD (colon infection). Can i take chymoral forte for digestion as well to reduce IBD? ## Chymoral Forte contains the active ingredient Trypsin, this is a protease commonly found in the digestive system. As to whether or not you can safely use it, this site is not medical professionals and do not have information on your medical history or other medications, so it would be remiss of us to try and advise you on that. I would suggest you ask your doctor if it can be of benefit to you and is safe to take considering your medical conditions and other medications. I will state, however, that these are touted to help with many things, but they are really not proven to do so. You can read more about it here: Is there anything else I ca...

I have been prescribed this drug for control of my fluctuating Blood Pressure. Normaly my BP ranges between 80/140 to 90/150. Recently it shot unto 110/170. I am 61 yrs. and have been taking BP control medicine Tenormin 50 - one in the morning and Telma 20 - one in the night. Last week I got my Eco Cardiograme and CT Angeography done. The reports are clear and Normal. Do I need to change the medicine and what is the side effect of Tazloc CT 80 mg. ## If your blood pressure is still going that high, then apparently your current medications aren't controlling it and that's most likely why your doctor has prescribed something new. Have you discussed it with your doctor? It's usually advisable to follow their advice, since they have your best interest and safety in mind. Uncontr...

Can chymoral forte be taken with Tenormin 25 mg tablet which I take for blood pressure ## Hi Veeboy, Based on my research, there are no drug interactions listed between Chymoral Forte (chymotrypsin + typsin) and Tenormin (atenolol). However this do not necessarily mean no interactions exist at all. You should always talk to your doctor first before combining any medications, just to play it safe. Hope this helps!

I am using Amlogard 5 mg and Tenormin 50 mg - one tab each in the mornings - for my high BP. I would like to know how these two work, i.e. what is the difference between the two, whether it is okay to use both in the mornings when daytime activity will follow or should I use one in the night. Is there a link between these tablets and frequent urination at night. ## Tenormin contains the active ingredient Atenolol, it is a selective receptor agonist, used to treat hypertension.
