CANCER PATIENT 150MG PO ## Do you mean Tarceva? ## This is from the Tarceva Web Site: Q. How does Tarceva work? A. Tarceva is a targeted treatment. It is designed to block tumor cell growth by targeting a protein called HER1/EGFR. This protein, which is present on the surface of some cancer cells and some normal cells, is important for cell growth in NSCLC. Exactly how Tarceva works is not yet fully understood; however, clinical trial results have proven that, in some patients, Tarceva can be effective in both improving patients' survival and slowing or stopping the growth of cancer. ## List most other cancer treatments, Tarceva may cause some side effects, such as lung problems, nausea, weight changes, dry eyes, unusual eyelash growth, and clotting problems. Has this been prescrib...

I found this pill in my son's room. it is a small round pill with a capital T on one side and 25 on the other. ## A white round pill imprinted with T 25 is identified as Tarceva (25 mg). However, I cannot locate a photo of the pill to confirm whether or not the "T" and "25" are on the same side of the tablet, so this may not be 100% accurate in that regard. Tarceva (Erlotinib) is prescribed for treatment of non-small cell lung cancer; pancreatic cancer; and renal cell carcinoma. After looking at other similar Tarceva pill images with different imprints (such as T 20), I can see that the imprints of "those pills" are both on the same side of the pill, which gives me a hunch that this may not be your pill. At this point, it's good to narrow down possible re...

Has anyone tried keratin treatment on Tarceva effected hair? I was on Tarceva 18 mos and the hair is so unmanageable ## Hello, Becky! How are you? I'd suggest seeing a beautician, before trying anything. You need to know what the issue is with your hair, if you add Keratin and it already has too much protein, that will just make it even worse. Thus, you really need an expert to let you know if it is lacking in protein, or needs more. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Thanks for the reply. She just said sure I could do keratin but I don't know if she thought of it on a cellular level. This is helpful because I see my Dr Monday and will ask him what makes for the kinky , dry texture.

Found these unlabeled in garage, they're really tiny white tablets with a capital T on one side and 25 on the other. It's Canadian by the way. Any help would be greatly appreciated. ## Found a match! I don't think this pill was manufactured in Canada though, as my findings showed the company's location is here in the U.S. (oregon, and california). The pill imprint is identified as Tarceva (25 mg). The generic name for this is Erlotinib, and the manufacturer is Genentech. For verification purposes, the National Drug Code (NDC) for this pill is 50242-0062. Tarceva is a drug used to treat non-small cell lung cancer, pancreatic cancer and several other types of cancer. It is a reversible tyrosine kinase inhibitor, which acts on the epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR). It...
