Tapentadol is a centrally acting analgesic that is used to treat moderate to severe pain.

IT's side effect profile is similar to that for narcotics and includes: nausea, drowsiness, dry mouth and dizziness.

Thus, it also has the propensity of being abused.

Im trying 2 find out if this pill will work in place of Methadone...Im currently detoxing from 90mg, 2m Im lowered 2 15mg (5mg lower a week) but since Ive decreased past 35mg, Im havin withdraw symptoms by the end of the day...Im DETERMINED 2 beat this, but I cant take the pain...I dont want 2 pick up a different habit, but am wonderin if this medication 50mg is STRONG enough 2 @ least take the sweat, ache & pains away, I was usin Roxycodone, & dont want 2 supplement with that...PLEASE ANY1 w information post r email me:

Only when alternative non-opioid pain treatment methods have failed to control pain or are intolerable can ancher text
be used to treat severe pain. Typically, tapentadol is not advised for the management of persistent pain.
