Taking 40 Mgs Liquid Methadone Per Dose

I go to a methadone clinic and recently got takehomes. I am trying to split my dose up so i can take it 3x a day. I get 140mgs. All I have is a med dropper that has tsps and mls. I only want to take about 40 mgs a time. How do I convert that with the med dropper I have?

What about splitting it into 3 doses using 3 of the same size bottles/containers?

If the dropper is 1 ml, it might be the same as 10mg

Without knowing how many milliliters they give you in your take home bottle, no one can properly answer your question.

Additionally, it would really be best to take it all at once, if that is what they have directed you to do. Altering your dosage, or the way it is taken, in any way, could go against the contractual agreement you have with them that allowed you to get take homes. It would best to check, before you make any changes.

The FDA warns that Methadone carries the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth.
