Hi Antonette, How's it going?

I'm sorry to hear about your experience with Prolia inj's. Based on the number of threads I've seen created on Prolia side effects (just on this site alone), it seems like there should be enough people to organize some sort of petition to the FDA regarding it's serious adverse effects.

I guess with some medications (like Prolia) the chance or risk of experiencing severe side effects is significantly greater than others. So hopefully with enough complaints, Prolia will eventually turn up on the banned drugs list. You can also file a report on this drug with the FDA through their MedWatch program at:

fda.gov/Safety/MedWatch

I hope this helps!

Hello,
thanks for responding to my post. However the big drug companies will never allow any petition to be put through ! My own endocrinologist is "afraid" to give me anymore prolia or reclast. And I've been on bisphosphonates, since I was 18 yrs. old. I had a hysterectomy yrs. ago. So ever since the oral pills for 40 yrs., I could not take them anymore as they were damaging to the liver. My only hope is for the cancer med of RECLAST, which also causes long bone fractures, that actually splinter the leg bone. Then there is the death of bone tissue, which is really a big concern. I have not had any osteoporosis meds now for the past two years, b/c she is afraid to give me anything, until more research is done ! So I will have to play a waiting game or suffer from osteoporotic fractures. I'm lucky so far ! But I have BROKEN all my toes and all my ribs, several times. So my odds are not in good favor. But in reality medical science needs to stop using us as human guina pigs ! Antonette Royce RNC BS CS/Para-legal
