I'm interested in knowing what the composition of the capsule is, ( derived from animal, plant or lab produced?

The blue capsule in description is identified as Prazosin hydrochloride 5 mg.

Judging by the look of it and other pills produced by this manufacturer (Teva Pharmaceuticals USA), I am almost certain that this specific pill is derived from various animal by-products. The blue dye alone is a red-alert in my book.

Additionally, gelatin typically constitutes the shells of most pharmaceutical capsules, so I'm further swayed to believe that this holds true for Teva's products as well.
There doesn't seem to be specific details on whether this is so or not; just compelling evidence that it is most-likely an animal by-product.

very interesting, I appreciate the info. The blue color from the red dye is enough to keep me from swallowing it along with the fact that animal products may be present as well? What animal, all animals aren't edible?
