I have been taking this medication for quite a while and I believe my minor thyroid problem is under control. I have read and been told that this perticular medication can give you extra energy and weight loss. This is definately not happening in my case, in fact just the opposite. I have never felt this was due to medication though. An acquaintance told me that my medication would work in this manner if I took it at least one hour prior to taking my other medications and vitamins or drinking anything ie: coffee, tea, juice, etc. Could this be true and my doctor has just been remiss in relating this info to me, or have I been remiss in reading the RX insert? ## Well the basic point here is it says it can or may do that, it does not say that it will do that, which means that it works to ...

Does it take a long time to titrate the correct dosage? ## If the colum posting is right and you are talking about synthroid pills, then yes you are correct....it can take time to titrate the right dosage for you. Keep at it though, because when you are at the right one you will feel so much better!

I believe that the prescribed medication is to high. Symptoms such as ataxia, (balance problems), slurred speech. This onset of symptoms was sudden and I've undergone many tests with no cause. Leading me back to this medication. I would like to hear if anyone else can relate to this. Thank You ## I need info on the effects of .0125 MG of Synthroid

I also have been on synthroid for 12 yrs. and still am not on a reg. dose--dr.change me reg.. I was put on 350mg. and then brought down to what I am now at 125mg. seems to be ok. I hate that with any meds. I never can get regulated.. It is one big roller coaster ride with my health and sanity as the booby prize.
