My 2 yr old is taking smz-tmp 200-40/5, can he be in the sun? ## Hello, Allison! How is he doing? It would be best to avoid it, if possible, and if not you should use a strong sunblock. This antibiotic may make him more susceptible to the suns rays and heat, so he may burn or get heat stroke much faster than usual. Common side effects to the medication may include nausea, dizziness, non-alelrgic skin rash and diarrhea. Is there anything else I can help with?

WHAT ARE THE EFFECT OF BEING IN THE SUN ON THIS MEDICATION ## Hello, Pete! How are you? This antibiotic will make you more sensitive to the sun and heat. You may burn much faster or overheat much sooner than normal. Thus, it is best to use sunblock and make sure to stay hydrated for the duration of your treatment. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Thanks for the reply. I am taking this as a result of a jump in my PSA reading. I was always under 2 ,this time it was 5.3 . It was less then 6 months from the 1.5 PSA reading. So Dr. Thought it might be from urinary infection. Has anyone had same jump in such a short time.

WHY CAN'T i FIND THIS AT TARGET WALMART OR K MART? IS IT OFF THE MARKET NOW? ## Hello, From what I'm seeing on the manufacturer's website, it doesn't look like they make Vaseline Intensive Care products with SPF anymore. I noticed that if you run a search for "Vaseline Intensive Care SPF" on their contact page, and click on "Can't find your favorite product?", it will show that "it's not listed here and has been discontinued"… So unless you come across an older container that's been sitting on the shelf somewhere, you'd probably have better luck trying a different product with similar active ingredients at one of the retail stores you mentioned. When was the last time you recall purchasing it?

The pill has two shades of blue. On one half of the pill it has the letter "n" and on the other side it has the numbers "180". It's one of those pills that you break in half and pour out some powder or something. Do you have any idea what it is?

Can Canex T cream be mixed with Persivate cream and sunblock to be as a cream to remove dark acne marks on the face? ## Hi Pinky, Cantex T contains the active ingredient Clotrimazole, which is an antifungal medication commonly used in the treatment of fungal infections (of both humans and other animals) such as vaginal yeast infections, oral thrush, and ringworm. It is also used to treat athlete's foot and jock itch. Side effects include: skin rash, hives, blistering, burning, itching, peeling, redness, stinging, swelling, or other sign of skin irritation. I wouldn't recommend putting this cream on your face unless you have been instructed to do so by a doctor. Also, I'm not sure if Canex T or Persivate (betamethasone) cream will help with dark spots, were you prescribed eit...

I have a red pill like a football, one side says KALI and the other 083. What is it? ## what is kali 083 ## Wow…what horrible coloring! That's just my opinion looking at the images, but I consider them quite awful…and for anyone else looking, there are actually 3 different shades of this same tablet and the manufacturer calls all of them orange… However, one is bright red, one is more of the brownish color similar to the original Advil tablets and the other is much closer to orange. As to what it contains, this is a generic for Ultracet, 325mgs of Acetaminophen and 37.5mgs of Tramadol, it is a centrally acting analgesic. Since the Tramadol is derived from a narcotic, it does have the potential to be habit forming and may cause si...

is there any Gluten egg or zinc in the PharmAssure 50 mg Zinc tablet? ## Hi Gina, The only details I could gather, are that on PharmAssure's Calcium, Magnesium & Zinc tablets; which do not contain any of the ingredients you mentioned, except for Zinc..but I'm not sure if you mistakenly or intentionally put Zinc down, since the tablet in question is in fact a Zinc supplement. The only other ingredients listed outside of those minerals are: Cellulose and Titanium Dioxide (Natural Mineral Whitener). That said, I do believe that this company keeps gluten and eggs outside of their products, but in order to know for certain about that particular tablet, one would need to look on the packaging label or contact the manufacturer directly. I hope this helps!

Where can I get some in Melbourne????? ## Since I don't live in your area I wouldn't be aware of the stores that carry it over there. However "Vasaline Intensive Care Daily Moisture Lotion SPF 15" can be bought online via various retailers, including ebay. Have you tried checking any of your local pharmacies or drug stores? If you can't find it there, it may just be easier to have it shipped to you.

a capsule turquoise blue one end of capsule has the markings AP. Other end 60 ## I may have located a match to your pill; however my finding is not listed as being turquoise, but rather a darker shade of blue. To confirm this, I would ask if you can run a google images search for "blue capsule TAP 60". If this is your pill, you probably noticed that the marking "AP" is actually "TAP", sort of fused together in the logo. This capsule contains 60mgs of Dexlansoprazole Delayed Release; which is used to treat gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD). The pill itself is manufactured by Tap Pharmaceuticals. Does this appear to be the pill you are describing? Please post back if you have any additional questions or comments regarding this. ## That is it I said turquoise b...

Can enapco(generic of prexum plus) be taken with St Johns Wort? ## Hi Andries, I did find a few details regarding this interaction, stating that ACE inhibitors (such as Enapco) have been reported to cause increased sensitivity to the sun, amplifying the risk of sunburn or skin rash. Because St. John's wort may also cause this problem, taking this herbal supplement during treatment with ACE inhibitors might add to this risk. It may be a good idea to wear a sunscreen or protective clothing during sun exposure if you take this herb while using an ACE inhibitor. One other bit of information notes that high blood pressure medication (with ACE) inhibitors should not be taken with St. John's Wort, although it does not explain why. While St. John's Wort is much better alternative th...

Has 55 or S5 imprint - peachy orange color ## Hi kjm, Based on the description provided, I may have located a match to your pill. The only problem is, my source does not show a photo of this pill; just the description "S5" being the imprint on a red oval pill (the shade of red cannot be verified). I'll go ahead and post this pill information below so you can see if it rings a bell or not: S5 is identified as Simvastatin (40mg). It is used to control hypercholesterolemia (elevated cholesterol levels) and to prevent cardiovascular disease. The pill itself is noted to be manufactured by Accord Healthcare, but I would actually consider contacting them directly, just for verification of this and possibly obtaining a photo of the pill: accord-healthcare.com/contact_us.htm# You can...

I am looking for a sunscreen that woulos help an outside worker who is allergic to most of them. ## What particular ingredient are you allergic to?? Have you discussed it with a doctor? The most important factor here is figuring out what you are allergic to, then you would have a better idea of what you can use for sun protection.
