I was using persivate cream that made my skin a few shades lighter. Now I'm using persivate ointment and I want to know if it will make my skin lighter as well? ## persivate ointment doesn't really enlighten skin, helps with rash and pimples. but it is not to be used for more than three to six months, it actually dangerous coz once u start using it u can't stop. I'm using the persivate ointment but it won't let me stop using and try other products, so I'll be soon visiting a dermatologist coz now my skin is sensitive to everything. ## Ive been using this persivate ointment for 6 years please i want to stop i used it for eczema now have dark sircle round my eyes help please ## Hi Nony, If you wish to stop using Persivate ointment, no one is forcing you to continue...

I recently had an iron infusion for low iron levels. A short time later I went to have my hair cut and dyed. As the girl was applying the dye, my hair started to turn purple. It was washed out and I was unable to complete the hair dying process. Does anyone have and information on the effect of iron infusions on the hair and how long will it remain in the hair? ## There is a chance that it was actually due to your low iron levels, rather than the iron infusion. Hemoglobin provides your hair with its red tones, so if you are low in iron, it can wash your natural hair color out to a different shade, which can alter how a dye works on your hair. If you've been dying your hair all along, you may not have even noticed a change, since anemia only affects your natural color. It may take a ...

For sleeping disorders?? ## As far as I know Titanium Dioxide is not ingested at all, rather it's found in sunblocks. ## My neuro explained to me that the purpose to prescribe Gabapentin was to help reduce my chronic pain so it will me help me sleep at night. ## Titanium Dioxide is in EVERYTHING.....Medication's, cosmetic's, food, toothpaste...you have to read the INACTIVE Ingredients list! It is used as a whitener, as well as like an oil to make products more smooth flowing. ## Yoopergirl is correct, titanium dioxide is an inactive ingredient in some medications. Gabapentin is the active ingredient, it is an anticonvulsant that is also used to treat some types of nerve pain. It may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, mood changes, and weight changes. Is...

darker shade of blue, kind of oval shape. number 5 on one side. number 6 over 571 other side. ## tsfg ## dark blue, large, white inside, pointed on each end, size of a vitamin ## Is the marking possibly b 571 with a 5 on the other side? If so, Teva Pharmaceuticals lists this tablet as containing 5mgs of mixed amphetamine salts, which is a generic for Adderall. It is most commonly used to treat ADHD, narcolepsy, and shift work sleep disorder. The FDA warns that it carries the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, irritability, and insomnia. Can you please double check the imprint and post back? Thank you!

How dangerous is the use in prescription medicines? ## I have been prescribed Ferrous Fumerate 305mg capsules BD. My Ferattin levles has been quite low and I have experienecd alopicia. I am concerned that the capsules have 4 artifical colouring: E104 (quinoline yellow), E127(erythrosine), E132 (indigotine), E171 (titanium dioxide) most of which have been banned in other countries. I plan on taking th emedication fo ronly 3 months to raise my ferattin levels which will help my hair grow back. What should I be doing to reduce the toxicity from the medication as I am on a fairly high dose? ## Regarding the titanium dioxide, as well as other ingredients that you both have questioned, I think we sometimes forget that the amount of them in any given medication is minuscule, so you really aren...

I recently got some v3601 yellows. The outside is a lighter shade of yellow, with patches of white showing. When broken in half I could make out obvious specks of white inside the pill. Not shiny crystals like usual, but actual white specks. Is this normal? I have some pictures but cant post it from my phone. Otherwise the pills are the same size and have the same inscriptions on the pills. ## Those are fake. You should see the white crystals always. ## I think with any pill not received from a licensed pharmacy, there's always the risk of having counterfeits that can resemble it so closely, that the only way to truly verify its legitimacy would be to have it analyzed by a lab or drug panel. Generic norco/vicodin such as this is pretty commonly prescribed though, and I doubt pain ma...

I have been unsuccessful as yet in finding information about titanium dioxide overload. I have been taking a variety of medications that contain T.D. And seem to have become "overloaded" with it. Med's that previously were not of bother now mysteriously cause a variety of disturbing & dangerous side effects. When taking anything containing T. D. I become lethargic (To the point of waiting until the last minute to do basic life-needs), experience body-wide excruciating aches & pains & generally feel like I am dying. Last winter I began to feel like this increasingly without knowing the problem. One day I watched a report on Oxycontin, which I was taking for chronic pain, where the mother of a young man taking it for pain described his deterioration as if she were ...

Son had severe migraine, sweaty after taking Mucinex Max ## Hello, Willie! How is your son? Those can actually be side effects of such a medication, not necessarily an allergic reaction. The FDA lists other possible side effects as including nausea, dizziness, nervousness and dry mouth. Allergic reactions usually include symptoms, such as hives, body swelling, skin rash and trouble breathing. Is he one any other medications? He may also have experienced some type of interaction.

I found this in my daughters room and I really need to know what it is. Can you help? ## Can you double check the imprint and see if it's a 75, or if it's 7.5? And what's the shade of yellow, is it very pale, so it's almost white or is it a very obvious yellow? I've found a few possibilities, but more details will help to narrow it down. ## I found a round yellow pill with one side that has 75 on it and the other side nothing , what is it ?

Looking for any otc med that is filled with white or orange beads ## The otc med-capsule filled with white and orange beads is a Sundown Natural Pure Caffeine 200mg (8 hr sustained release) pill. I have 100 of them sitting in front of me. Now I'm sure another company may make them but that exact same description of your meds is exactly what I have at my desk, in front of me now.

Is it normal to have bruising after having a stent put in through the groin? My husband had this procedure done a week ago. ## Hello, Lady d! How are you? Yes, bruising can occur after almost any invasive medical procedure, including dental extractions and actual full surgery. You can read more about it in the details provided by the NIH. Anything that requires the tissue to be cut, ripped open or manipulated in any unusual manner can result in bruising. Has it changed, any? A healing bruise should gradually go from the darkish color to a pale yellowish or greenish shade, which denotes improvement. If you're concerned, then please speak to his doctor.

Light Blue pill oblong , only number" 131" on pill ## Hi Pattay, There don't appear any photographs on the internet that depict what shade of blue it is or the placement of the imprint, but the closest description I'm seeing to yours is a blue capsule-shaped pill with a marking of 131, that reportedly contains 500mgs of Acetaminophen + 25mgs of Diphenhydramine hydrochloride (Also known as Tylenol PM); which is used for the temporary relief of headaches, minor pain, & sleeplessness. For verification, the manufacturer is listed as Velocity Pharma and carries a National Drug Code of 76168-011. Furthermore, the size of the pill is posted at 18mm. Does this sound like a possibility?

Pill is reddish-pink Has a fancy f on one side Is triangle with rounded edges ## Hello, Hallie! How are you? Does it or does it not have an imprint? In the subject you say it doesn't, but then mention a fancy F in your actual post. Can you please post back and clarify? ## I have the same pill I found on my floor. Have you found out what it is? Reddish pink with fancy f on one side ## Hi there! Yesterday I found (what I think is) the same pill in the vehicle that transports my daughter to and from school. We live in the southern Los Angeles area. The shade of the pill is very similar to color # 990033 on this Web-Color-Chart. It's 3-sided or a triangle, but the sides are not straight-they protrude outward a bit. There is what appears to be a fancy letter f imbossed/engraved (uns...

I need to use a sunscreen or sunblock for daily use as part of my regimen routine. The problem is I have very oily. At the present time the only sunscreen I am using is included in the make up itself (whatever it has already in it). So what is the best ultra light for OILY SKIN sun screen that I can use daily as part of my day to day use? ## I use Blue Lizard face on a daily bases. I also have oily skin and rosacea and the BLue Lizard has worked great for me. I have tried other brands and it just didn't work and my face broke out. Now that I am in my 40's my skin has started to act crazy!! I'm now trying many different things to combat the oil and breakouts. ## ^^^THIS Amazing stuff! I use the sensitive and the face! :))

It's round. It's a slightly dull shade of orange, closer to orange than peach if you ask me and far from red/beige/yellow so yeah, it's orange. It's got what I think you'd call slightly beveled edges. One side says 0.2 and the other side has a vertical line down the middle, to the left of which it says "no" and to the right it says "vo" so it looks like ( no | vo ) and I suspect that it's something prescribed for anxiety but it could be anything. ## Don't let the topic fool you, the "no" and "vo" are all lower case. The N and V were automatically capitalized in the topic. The side with lettering says "no" on one side of the line and "vo" on the other side, all lower case. The flip side has a large 0.2 and no lin...

I started taking Estra/Noreth .5 one week ago. For the last three days my lips are very oddly chapped and chapstick does nothing for it. I never have had a problem with chapped lips. Now I'm in agony and applying chap stick every few minutes. Could this be a side effect? ## Hi Dana, How's it going? Sorry to hear about your problem with chapped lips. I had that same problem when I took Accutane, so I know how severe and bothersome it can be.. even when you keep applying more chap stick thinking it will help, but then it just dry's back up within a few minutes Lol. Based on my research though, dry/chapped lips aren't actually listed as a side effect of Estradiol / Norethindrone, but I did find "blistering or peeling of the skin" to be noted as a side effect on some...
