Sulfatiazol Con Penicilina Pomada Lata 27g

My neighbor was in a car accident and had many cuts and scabs on his face. He told me he was applying this to his skin so it can heal. In less than a week from the accident all his wounds were gone. I was wondering if you can use this for like acne scabs or acne cuts ?

This is an antibiotic ointment, that's used to treat or prevent infections. You really shouldn't use it, without your doctor's approval, because improper use may lead to your developing antibiotic resistance.

Hi Bridget- Sulfa and penicillin together is pretty powerful stuff! And you take in nearly as much through the skin as you would if you took pills.

Yerbarias copy formulas from rural areas with no nearby doctor or pharmacist. Ok, but think of it as emergency medicine.

You may want to keep it only for serious injuries, not little cuts or scrapes.

Stick with Neosporin for regular stuff. Sulfa is used for very bad infections and you want your body to respond if you need it.

Same with penicilln..

I have some penicilina pomada and was wondering if it would help improve my shingles? The doctor never prescribed me any ointment but my rash is getting worse and I cannot find any relief for the burning itch nor pain.

I am a HVAC&R contractor and I repair all the equipment at a Mexican Grocery Store in the United States. They have a lot of various medical treatment items that are kept behind a counter in the front of the store and anytime I have had any medical issues they usually have something to treat it and it is all stuff that is sold in Mexico. For the burn on my arm they gave me a 27g round container of the green Sulfatiazol con Penicilina and it cleared up the minor infection right away, worked great to help my burn heal fast.
