I know Suboxone does not show up in a standard test. But the job I am applying for may do an extended test. I have a prescription from my Doc and I am on 16mg a day which by the way is wonderful. But I was wondering if anyone knows how long till my urine's clean?

According to Norchem labs, a privately contracted lab that performs drug tests for employers etc., suboxone has a half life of 24 hours and it's detection time for screening tests is 1-7 days.
You can take that for what it's worth, or if you are interested I will walk you through the math:
They say the cutoff detection level is 5ng/mL. Let's say you take an 8mg strip.
8mg in 5L blood (average male) is 8000000ng/5000mL or 1600ng/mL. So when you first take that strip lets assume for arguments sake the most extreme scenario, that is all of it gets into your blood i.e. 100% bioavailability (you can do this by IVing the strip, sublingually bioavailability is around 60%). Over each half life the concentration will halve and look like:

That is approximately 8-9 half lives to get below the detection level of 5ng/mL. And if each half life is 24 hours that's 8-9 days. If you want to assume each half life is 48 hours then it would be 16-18 days. And if 72 hours then 24-27 days.
So for suboxone to get out of your urine, depending which half life you use, could take anywhere from 8-27 days.

This post is so silly, in they absolutely test for suboxone in urine. Even a simple 10 panel test otc. Also they test for metobolites that your body breaks substances down to not the drug itself. You cannot put any drug in urine and expect it to test positive. One more thing suboxone has about a 37 hour half life expect it to be in your system for 10-14 days

my husband worked a temp job and after 5 weeks the company wanted to hire him-yesterday he took a 10 panel drug test and showed positive for soboxin- which he has a prescription for and was hired and fired in one day-ITS SAD THAT WHEN SOMEONE LEGITIMATLY GETS OFF ME PILLS AND TRIES TO DO BETTER BY GETTING OFF THE DRUGS ARE STILL TREATED AS ADDICTS!!!!!! HE WAS TOLD THAT SOBOXIN SHOWED UP AS AM OPIATE TO THOSE SAYING IT ISN'T AND DOESN'T SHOW UP!!!!!!! THERE SHOULD BE A LAW OR SOMETHING TO PROTECT THOSE WHO ARE 100% TRYING TO LIVE A NORMAL LIFE AND JUST WANT TO WORK!!!!!!

Bullcrap. I actually get clean urine and get about 10 of the empty wrappers and basically wash the wrappers out with the urine and test positive for it (suboxone) every time. But you have to do it at home and take it with you because it takes about 10 min to do it. But it works evertime for me.

Well gee wiz I must be making all this up just to frighten the poor little boy and girl addicts. And FYI it wasn't even drug court nor am I even on probation. So take the info how you choose but Suboxone testing is coming to a friendly court house near you.

No matter what anyone says, absolutely not. Suboxone metabolizes a way through your system that when taken correctly you test positive for bupe but obviously it doesn't metabolize (since your not taking it) it actually screens for opiates. Not a good idea, plus most addiction doctors are privy to our tricks so I wouldn't chance ticking someone off. Other then that just take what you have the night before so you it's in your system, as long as they don't test levels you'll be alright.

FYI, your levels peak after 45 mins to an hour. So if you do urine try to take about an hour beforehand. If they swab take about half an hour before your test. I did this, not thinking and was accused of taking too many. My levels were through the roof. It was because I dosed recently. Your levels can't be accurately tested orally unless it's been about 24 hrs since your last dose. But obviously if you have extra take two instead of one. Or if you have to...lie. Say part of your script was stolen. If you won't get reprimanded. Some offices actually get suspicious f this because obviously ppl have lied just to get more. But if you're a long term patient and haven't raised any red flags before you might be alright. Obviously they would ask why you didn't call them or the police. Tell them the same thing happened to someone you know and the doctor did not believe them and got kicked off the program. So you were scared, plus you think it maybe a relative and are worried about starting a feud without being sure. Lie.
