I'm just not sure what is going on...I've been on Aggrenox for several weeks, at first I just had a mild headache for a few days and that's about it...and then I came down with a cold & running nose with body aches....it's about 5 days later and I'm still having a sick-like flu feeling...I'm trying to figure out whether it's the Aggrenox or if I'm still infected with the flu virus...all my family at present has the flu... ## It is hard to say, because Aggrenox has been known to cause upper respiratory tract infections, as a side effect in some people that take it, along with coughing, nausea, headache, and dizziness. Found small aqua green pill on my bench with a heart logo on 1 side and 2 triangle shapes on the other. Question. Anyone have a stroke and a couple months afterward develop a palsy like tremor. Is there a med to treat this? My left side, affected by the stroke, later developed a terrible palsy, for lack of word. This includes the shoulder, shoulder blade left leg. Used to cut hair. Can't anymore. Can barely butter my toast without crushing it. Can't hold a beverage in left hand. Would a parkinsons drug help me? Very disabling. In December 1995, at the age of 42 years, I was victim of a severe stroke which affected my right side totally. As by wonder, I survived the stroke without major implications. But ever since, I produce an abundant amount of saliva in my mouth. Even when taking care when talking to somebody, I still have amounts of saliva coming out of my mouth. Worse is my sleep or rest. Wherever I lay my head to sleep or to rest, a big spot of saliva is left behind. Someone who works for me part time has been prescribed Flupen 250. He had a bad turn (stroke like symptoms. Lame left arm, face numb on one side & eye sight blured) about 6months back. He was seen by a local clinic in the area & kept in hospital for a day. He has full movement now, but is still sluggish. My doctor suggested I take pause 500mg 3 times daily for 3 days. I would like to know if it is fine for a stroke patient to take a Neuronerv vitamin B1 + B6 + B12? ## Has their doctor told them to take it? If so, they should do so, most B vitamins are known to help with nerve support, health, and function. Does Betamox make any difference in people who've had a stroke? ## Has your doctor prescribed it for you? It is just an antibiotic and should be safe, if your doctor approves. Earlier this year, I was hospitalized for a stroke. It was actually pretty mild, I sounded like I was drunk and had a slight droop to my right side of my face. From tests done over time, the doctor's are pretty are convinced it was caused from my untreated high blood pressure. I have had HBP for years, and taking meds for it. My RX ran out last Dec. and my PCP would not refill it, until I check with the cardiologist I had seen one time a year earlier. I'm a 56 year old male, had stroke last year and got my left side paralyzed, but have no facial problems. Will this neurobion forte help my recovery? It's been almost one year. I'm also a heart patient. Please advise. ## My wife, age 72, had a stroke and the left side of her hand and legs were paralyzed. Actually, I am not the one who gonna take this med, it is my mother who is a stroke victim and I am worried that if she will take this med, we don't know yet the reaction in her condition. ## Has she been told to take it by a medical professional? What other medications is she taking? This medication is listed as containing Ebastine, and Betamethasone, both of which can sometimes cause elevated blood pressure and heart rate, so it might not be safe for her to take it, according NIH reports. my mother is 79 years old and she had a brain stroke two years ago. After 2 years, she had headache and therefore doctor prescribed her ecospirin for blood thinning alongwith other B.P. and diabetic medicines. Her hemoglobin level has been reduced to 4.6 once and after ten days again reduced to 5.4. Doctor has carried out all related tests like CT, Echo, Endoscopy and other tests of Gastrology. But nothing has came out, all reports were normal. Doctor has advised to stop the ecospirin tablet. Is this will be the reason of reducing hemoglobin. My brother had a stroke in the left side of his brain and is paralyzed on the right side of his leg and hand, and has no voice. After being discharged from the hospital, his doctor has advised strocit 500mg trice in a day. Please tell me if it's the correct dosage? My brother's age is 37.
