HI, I AM TAKING 14 STILPANE TABS A DAY & I WANT TO STOP. WHAT SHOULD I DO? I AM A MOTHER AND A WIFE.

Stilpane contains 370mgs of Paracetamol, 185mgs of Meproamate and 8mgs of Codeine.

And if you have been taking that many of them in a day, there are actually 2 possible problems.

The Codeine is a narcotic, so it can be habit forming and addicting, a sudden cessation of it, in such instances, will cause withdrawal effects, such as fever, chills, nausea and vomiting.

However, the most concerning ingredient, wit your level of usage is actually the Paracetamol, long-term use of just regular amounts can cause liver and kidney damage.

Amounts over 4,000mgs in a day can be toxic and, in some cases, this have resulted in death. With the amounts in this and taking 14 in a day, that means you've been taking 5,180mgs in a day. So, you may have already caused damage to your body, which could be permanent.

I take abt 20 tabs a day, I have learned that stilpane take abt 3 days without it to detox year system, but do not replace it with another tab wen u start to stop. Yor body will automatically clean itself, u will lose appetite and have a runny tummy, it will fade off by the end of the 3rd day, if yor runny tummy gets bad take lomotil.

My mom lives with me for the last month now and I took all her medcine away and give her only for the day, that includes 6 stillpane and 6 panado. But can see from this messages that we will have to bring it down slowly as she is 76 already and fighting about little things. To me it seems the body will always be in pain to get this drugs. Hi ek soek ook baie graag raad hoe om van stilpane tab. ontslae te raak. Ek moet ontrent 14-20 pille per dag drink om beter te voel. Wat kan ek doen en wat is die simptome van ontrekking, sonder dat ek in 'n hospitaal opgeneem moet word. Ek het 'n rug probleem en op die oomblik is stilpane my goedkoopste wat ek kan bekostig, Raad asb. ek kan nie elke week 'n pakkie van 100 pille klaar drink nie. Ek's raad op en baie bekommerd. hierdie is asb. baie vertroulik en persoonlik wil dit graag op my eie uitsorteer

My wife (she is 72) takes Tramacet, voltaren and stillpane on prescription on a daily base for pain after 3 back ops & blood clot in left leg. She is almost always tired and have "flu" systems. Is it possible that the three painkillers per day have a negative influence on her health?

Probeer om te detox. sien ook 'n dokter en vra vir ander tipes pynverligting. As jy van stipane na 'n ander oorskakel help dit nie veel met jou probleem nie. Probeer ook om oefening te doen omjou rug aan te help. Jy sal veral baie pyn ht in die koue. Laat weet hoe dit gaan en hoe jy vorder. Jy kan dit oorkom, die feit dat jy hulp soek, sê alreeds baie.

Stilpane addiction : How is it possible that so many men and woman are addicted ? This is a S5 tablet and must be prescribed by GP. Who is the guilty party? The user or abuser? Do we not have a system to track down the addicted?

hi I'm popping 15-20 a day some weekends are worst n my mum is addicted too, we both have been to rehabs twice had professional doctors, therapists, medical treatment of the best, in 26 male and we both relapsed at different times, people out there don't know haw bad stilpane is and the damage it causes to everyone n evrything around you!!!!

Get your doctorto detox you off the codiene, then use Naltrexone.(Naltima). This will stop the cravings for the codiene. Naltrexone is non-addictive.

My sister, 37 yrs old, eventually died after 8 years of stilpane addiction, please seek help. Do not take anything else as your system is already poisoned. My sister left two young and very traumatized children behind !. Stilpane is a schedule 5 drug. Death is inevitable after prolonged use.

I'm really curios, what does this drug make you experience? Please share because I think if we understand this, we might be able to help people that's addicted to it. I hope you guys that are addicted realize that your family and friends love you and though you might be embaraased it really is not your fault. there are tons of other drugs that create addictions. I recently became aware of a site called woodymatters.com plThe guy was prescribed a drug for insomnia and hanged himself weeks later because he was going out of his mind. His wife has since started the site andetc. to help others. Realize the importance of your lives and also that you matter and you CAN create a better life and DESERVE a better life. I hope you all find th help you need and if you guys think I shoudl set up a website about this, let me know. I'm currently studying psychology but have been motivating people eversince I can remember. Not professionally :-) I would love to help anyone I can.

I am a middle age woman, adicted in Tirica 1 mg , I use to take it from my young age, when I get angry i am taking 20 tables or more thn that, i fee weak , i can;t walk easily, evey time i am in depression, pls tell me wht to do?

I don't undrstand how people can get addicted 2 Stilpaine. My family was in a car accidnt many years ago, and we suspect that is where my back and neck got hurt. I was even accused of being addicted 2 other painkillers coz we didn't know the cause of the pain (i used wrong meds- unknowingly). When i stress a lot, i get mucsle spasms in my neck and if i don't 'stop' it in time (2 tablets maybe 3-4 hours apart), it goes over 2 migraine... 3-4 days in bed, THEN i take Stilpaine and an inj. with voltaren, then finally it goes away. Moral and point of my story: i don't take it if i don't have pain.

I went to rehab for a more serious drug addiction but was also struggling with a stilpain addiction,thankfully with help of getting detoxed I managed to kick the stilpain addiction so best try that....I used to take 30 a day everyday for 2 years

stilpaynes makes me feel better during my of days. I am a PTSD patient and was diagnized as such. My family do not understand and my husband dont believe me. He stopped me from getting my depression tablets. I am losing weight tremendiosly and is always tired. I sleap bad and akdo look at my grand daughter day and night. How do you keep up with all of this. We stay on a small holding and just want to sleap all the time. I am in my lste 50 s. Life has become too much for me. Not even sleaping tablets help any more. Nobody seems to understands the problem. I am overdue for a holiday. Away from every body. I need hours and hours of rest. I see myself as a good mother and very good grandmother. But caring for 2 minor babies 24/7 now beig too much.PLEÁSE I NEED HELP
