My question is I have been on sprintec 9 months and my question is Im going to get married and on that week i finsihsh the white pills so my worry is one i start the blue pilss is there a chance i can get pregnet, i dont miss pilss so am curiosu about that. ## No, as long as you haven't missed any pills, you are still protected from pregnancy for the entire month. You should check with your doctor, before doing this, but it's usually safe for most women to just continue the active pills and skip their periods at a time it would be inconvenient to have it, such as right after you get married. To do so, you would just skip the inactive week and move right on to a new pack of pills. Are there any other questions? ## okay my question is not skipping my period cause two days before t...

Okay so I started Sprintec about 3 months ago and my doctor said my period should change after 3 months. My previous 2 months by my first sugar pill I was on a heavy period with cramps. But this month I took one of my blue pills at mid night because I forgot it and now I have light cramps, and my body is acting like I'm on my period but no blood. Do you think I'm pregnant? please help ## If you still took the pill within 24 hours of when you should have done so and haven't actually missed any, then it isn't very likely that you are pregnant. And your doctor was correct, it can take 3 months for your body to fully adjust to this medication and it is normal to experience menstrual changes during this time. However, if you are concerned, then you should contact your doctor ...

Hi! i've been taking Sprintec for more then one year now! this month I skiped one blue pill, and after 2 days, even if I took the pills at my regular hour in those days, I got my period! Should I continue to take the pills form this pachage until I am done with them,or should I discontinue them and start a new cycle on Sun? ## If you've only skipped one pill, it is fine to just continue the current pack. Skipping it caused the breakthrough bleeding, but your body will get back onto your normal cycle, soon. However, missing a pill does increase your risk of getting pregnant, so you should use some other form of back-up protection for at least a week. Are there any other questions?

i take my pills every day but i sometimes take them at different times of the day because i almost forget. can you have a risk of getting pregnant by mixing up the times of taking the pill with sprintec? ## Not unless you would miss a full 24 hours. If you are just off by a few hours, you'll be fine. The reason they tell you to take it at the same time every day is so that you get in the habit of doing that, to help you not miss any pills. Are there any questions or comments?

so i've been on sprintec for about 9 months. and with this last pack, i missed an entire week of takeing them because i didn't get a chance to refill my perscription for them. so when i got them, i started taking them the sunday after i was saposed to start them...i've been taking them regularly since then, but i expected to start my period the last week of the blue pills!! i just took my first white pill last night, and still no period!! am i pregnant? or is my period just waiting for the white pills to get in my system? should i take a test or wait till all the white pills are gone? ## It sounds like your body is readjusting to sprintec, since you missed a week. Something similar happened to a friend of mine, and she missed a period for a month. After the medication adjust...

I having been takin tri spintec for 3 years and after my husband has been 'fixed i no longer need it: so my question is, will i experience any side effects because of not taking this anymore ## Yes, you can experience some minor effects, because your body will have to readjust to not having the hormones. This could include some nausea, weight fluctuations and acne. It will not last for too long, however, usually a month or so, at most. Do you have any other questions?

question: i am a sunday starter but i didnt get to start the new pack until monday. and i misunderstood how to take them. instead of taking 2 on mon (both sun and mons) i threw sundays away and just started with monday. AND during the active pills i also lost one completly. if i am to get my period, and i was a day late starting the pack, should it come one day early or late? ## just go on w/ your schedule.......... & use a condom too PLEASE!! ## Yes, you should use a back-up means of birth control, until you have been on the pills continuously for several weeks, without missing any. As to when your period will start, it all depends on how your body reacts to missing the pill, you may even start now, or at least have some spotting/breakthrough bleeding. Do you have any other questio...
