Spotting After Using Dronis 30

Hi,

I started using Dronis 30 from Last month as i have PCOD my doctor recommended it. I used it only for 12 days from the next day i started bleeding, My doctor says it will be spotting, it continues for 3 days. Will spotting continue for 3 days. How to distinguish between normal periods and bleeding. I also take Iron tablets in addition to dronis 30.

Hi, Vijaya! Sorry about the problems you're having and for the confusion.

To clarify for you….

It is considered spotting if it is only a tiny little bit of blood that you see when you go to the bathroom and isn't enough to require you to use a feminine hygiene product, such as a pad or tampon. And yes, it can continue for awhile, when your body is adjusting to the hormones in this medication.

Actual bleeding that would be considered a full flow is just that, a full flow like your normal period that requires the use of a feminine hygiene product.
