Hiya, I have had severe acne since about 9 years old (I know, started early) and it has been a constant battle. I have had every antibiotic and treatments under the sun and the only one that seemed to do anything was Roaccutane which I was on for nearly 2 years. Of course, 6 months after coming off, my acne came back and so my dermatologist suggested trying Spironolactone as he didn't feel comfortable with me being on Roaccutane any longer. I started off with 25mg for about 3 months and then increased this to 50mg and now I'm on 75mg and I'm still really struggling with my acne!! It's been about 6 months now and I had high hopes and now I'm close to giving up. I'm also really worried about the side effects, especially long term. About 2 months ago I ended up in h...

I found this pill on top of one of my cabinets in the house . can you tell me what it might be? ## Could the marking be 5880 V? I actually have these and due to the size and pressing of the imprint, the numbers are difficult to make out on them. However, they contain 25mgs of Spironolactone, which is primarily used as a potassium sparing diuretic and antihypertensive agent. Learn more Spironolactone details here. ## Possibly a Prednisone, a corticosteroid, used primarily for inflammatory conditions. I would advise flushing it down the toilet, or putting it with yucky food trash, so no one will take it by accident or on purpose. It can have nasty side effects.

I cannot find a coupon for Chlorthalid 23mg tab. This is the name as spelled on my prescription bottle. I'm paying Walmart $49.95 for 90 tablets, is there a coupon for this medication. I need an answer so will leave email address ## Hello, Nancy! How are you? No, I'm sorry, but since this a generic medication, there are no coupons or assistance programs available. However, there are other diuretics available that are much cheaper, so it might be best to ask your doctor about prescribing an alternative. Spironolactone and Hydrochlorothiazide are both usually cheaper and treat the same conditions. Side effects may include nausea, dizziness, headache and dehydration. Is there anything else I can help with?

What is it whats it treat a white round pill w rx 673 on one side and a split line on the other side ## Hi greg, Based on the description provided, there are two possible matches I found. The first is a white round pill imprinted with a cursive "R" over "673" on one side and a score/split line on the other. R 673 is identified as Spironolactone 100 mg. This medication is used primarily in the treatment of hypertension. The second is a white round pill imprinted with "RX 173". I just haven't come across a photo to verify the placement of the numbers or existence of a score line. RX 173 is identified as Doxycycline monohydrate 150 mg. This medication is an antibiotic used to treat a variety of bacterial infections. Do either of these sound like a potential match?
