Which soma (carisoprodol) generic is best? I'm reading that the 'cor 103' makes you feel like you took a narcotic but isn't. Sounds nice as I do not like them either but the relief they provided. I have been on dans for years but seeing this makes me want to give this generic a try. Any feedback? Watson (Actavis - Mayne pharma) - dan 5513 Sandoz - cor 103 Sun - 446 Qualitest - V Med Pharma - MP Aurobindo ## There is no way to suggest any given best one for any certain person, you really just have to try them and see what works best for you, since we are all different. The FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and drowsiness. Personally, I haven't tried this medication. Can anyone that has tried it chime in? T...

resembles a mentos in size and shape, completely white with no evidence of a coating, no imprints or markings ## it's probably a diet pill ## It is most likely that this was some type of over the counter product. From the size and shape, my best guess is that it was a supplement of some type, though I can't be certain. If there are no markings, we can rule such pills out as being U.S. manufactured prescription medications, because they are all required to have imprints to enable their identification, in case of emergency. However, there is a small chance it could be a foreign medication, but that isn't very likely. I've seen some Calcium supplements that resemble this, though. Does anyone else recognize it? ## could be a muscle relaxer soma from mexico looks just like a ...

I've decided at my next Dr. appt to ask for my Soma back. I have a certain bone disease, and the only thing that helped the awful pain from it was Soma. I'm tired of being in pain & if the Soma is the only thing that helps, then why deny me the Soma that are completely legal? Enough is enough!!! If he denies to re-prescribe it, then put me back on Oxycontin 80mg a day. Does anyone know why so many people I know can't get their Soma either?? ## The US government is making it very difficult for Drs to prescribe all pain medication. Drs also don't want to be part of any kind of DEA investigation if the DEA wants to delve deeper. The DEA has all access to pharmacy records and can randomly investigate. ## It's not the DEA that's behind my losing my Soma. My Dr. st...

My GP recently stopped prescribing me Soma after many years of successful treatment with no other changes in medications. I go to a pain specialist for long term injury and they do not prescribe soma. I've heard that the best bet for getting back to my previous treatment plan may be to find a new GP who would prescribe soma. Does anyone have any idea of how to find this out about the specific doctors or know of any in the Tulsa, OK area who do? Please let me know, I cannot take all of the other muscle relaxants I've been prescribed to try. ## Soma is and does many things but rest assured it does not provide "successful treatment" of any part of the body. That is why it is being slowly phased out ## I'm looking for a doctor who prescribes soma in Tulsa, OK. I have bee...

My insurance company stopped filling my prescription of Soma because it is not in their health care plan formula. What are the top five that work as well as Soma (Carisoprodol)? ## Then Stan you reach in your pocket and pull out the $4 it costs for Soma. I pay $2. The insurance company doesn't dictate what medicines you can take, only which ones they might not pay for? ## Unfortunately, there is really no top options list that anyone can give you, there are no others that are as strong as Soma, at this time, and which other one might help can vary from person to person. If you can't afford to pay for it out of pocket, as Eddy suggested, you might want to consult your doctor about which one they think would be best for you to try. Personally, I had great results with Skelaxin, wh...

## What is somax used for and what are the side affects? ## Not a definite answer but I'm wondering if "Somax" is a misspelling of any of these drugs? - Soma - Flomax Anyone else think of any other drug names that "Somax" could be a misspelling for? Or could this be either an over the counter supplement, or a product from outside the United States?

If I took somas the night before and had a urine test the next day and it was sent to the lab would it show up? If not, what for? And could any other meds show up as soma? I need verification. ## It very well could as SOMA is one of the most abused medicines in our country. ## lmao mmmkay Eddie. You just took away all questions. You def are a troll. Half-life and most abused have zero correlation. You make no sense and you’re incorrect. ## Depends if they check for it.

5513 ## I am not certain what you are asking, could you please clarify? ## Can I take the medication Soma if it expired in 2007? ## I’m wondering the same thing. I found a script that expired in 2007 also. ## Yes you can, they may show signs of aging but should still be good. I did however have some Rantidine/Zantac go bad after storing an emergency night bag in my car in 150 degree Southern California summer weather ## Yes you can. It just loses its potency. ## I have 5-year-old Soma that is just as potent. What they do do is turn hard making them difficult to break in half. And some of mine are also exposed to extreme temperatures

Whst can I ask my doc for thst is the closest to soma. ## Flexeril and , those type of medicinces which don't get you high, but take care of muscle problems ## Robaxin and Skelaxin are also other options, after Soma, Skelaxin is most likely the strongest choice. Learn more Skelaxin details here. Has your doctor refused to prescribe Soma? Although people are frequently confused about it, it's a muscle relaxant and not a narcotic opiate. ## Also, you can try Tizanidine HCL or Zanaflex, the trademark name. It's helped me with neck pain from arthritis. Good luck. ## I have had all of the muscle relaxers only soma works for me and they help me sleep. I'm 64 and have used them since I was 17 due to a car accident.

I was recently switched from soma to baclofen. The Baclofen makes me feel very strange and I cannot function as well on it as I can with Soma. It makes me sleepy, and frankly just makes me feel like crap. The Soma works better for me as far as muscle spasms. The Baclofen does help spinal pain but does not work as quickly as Soma on spasms. My doctors in Alabama refuse to prescribe me Soma even though I have been put on different muscke rekaxers, Soma works best with my body. Why will doctors nor prescribe what works best for the individual. Every thing works different on different people. I want to be able to function and not be a zombie. What should I do. My pain clinic doctor only wants to get meds from him, but if he wont prescribe what works, I will get my pain meds from him and som...

White round with RUGBY on one side 3435 on the other ## Identify white round pill with rugby on one side an 3435 on the other side. ## From what I can find this is listed as being a generic for Soma, which contains 350mgs of Carisoprodol. These pills are white, completely blank, except for a slash across the middle on one side. Are these candy? WTF Are they? Have I been totally scammed??? ## Well, where were they obtained from? if they have no markings, we can rule them out as being a U.S. approved and manufactured Soma/Carisoprodol tablet, because all such prescription medications are required to have imprints to enable their identification. However, it could be any one of a large number of over the counter products, since they do not fall under this law. Learn more Soma details here. ## They sound like somas from mexico. I have been in soma for a long time on and off. I have tried every muscle relaxer/spasmodic out there. All of a sudden my dr won't prescribe soma anymore?? I have a disease that has no cure and I know what works for me. I have given an honest try with all the other muscle meds, but I am at my wit end. It is ok to give me oxycodone and fentanyl patches but the soma is a no? I don't understand. I would need less break through pain meds if I still was in the soma. I was doing so much better. I am disabled and I am having a hard time with going to urgent care whenever I'm having spasm or my muscles are locked. Any suggestions? ## Hello, JJ! How are you doing? Doctors will not write RX for this anymore. I am allergic to Vicodin, Codeine all sorts of pain meds. Soma always worked for me. I sit with extreme pain; nothing works all = depression; never had depression till whole body turned into pain. Real, overwhelming pain; can't sleep; cannot eat; nausea from pain. ## There are better muscle relaxers than Soma on the market. Many Doctors don't like prescribing Soma as they have had personal experience with this worthless medication. With that said I am lucky my doctor will prescribe it, he is a great man! ## There's too many interactions between Soma opiate drugs and benzodiazepines for doctors to prescribe them as they once were ## I have the exact problem if they won't prescribe soma than the key should have something that wor...

I got pain-o-soma rx'd from India. Took a week to get. They don't work although they did make me very tired. I took my first dose..nothing. Then took a second dose ... nothing except making me tired. What a rip off. It's a racket. I am sure they don't get any return customers. They did say they have Watson Somas but are more expensive & only payment method is Western Union which is a hassle & also costly. ## Unfortunately, when you receive medication from a foreign source, there is really no way to be sure of its safety, or potency, since foreign medications are not approved by the FDA. There is even a chance that you didn't receive Soma/Carisoprodol, at all. There was even an instance on here a few years ago when many people all received the same exact table...

I was given a prescription for each, but don't want to take both...just one of the weaker kind since I'm not in as much pain as usual, which one do I take Soma 350 mg or Oxycodone 10/325 mg? ## These are not both pain medications, so they can't really be compared as to which is stronger, since they are different substances that do different things. Soma is a muscle relaxant that contains the active ingredient Carisoprodol. Learn more Soma details here. And the Oxycodone with Acetaminophen is a narcotic analgesic. Learn more Percocet details here. That's likely why you were given both prescriptions, because they both help in different ways. Are there any other questions or comments? ## Well it depends on what you want to take. Those are to different meds. Oxycodone is a p...
