Solco Clonazepam Reviews (Page 2)

Updated

Solco is horrible! I was forced to try it after Accord for migraine relief and I felt like I was swimming through jello in a fog. I took it for almost a month until it occurred to me that my problems started with Solco. I have chronic pain and fatigue, so i thought at first I was in a flare-up from something, then I considered a virus or infection, as it got worse by the day and I realized as I lay in bed whimpering in pain and thought I was dying, I thought, it HAS to be this Solco. I had some Mylan left (which has been discontinued), so yesterday I switched back and today I am a different person! The marked difference is incredible. I actually think I was going through a withdrawal syndrome. I have never had a benzo do that to me, ever and I've been on Mylan and Caraco for years! I had 99% of withdrawal symptoms which interestingly enough are closely related to side effects! So I am seeing my doc this week to see what I can do. This is my 4th one to try and none have been as horrible as Solco. I think one local drug store carries Actavis which I am reading good things about, then if it works okay for me there will be the fight with my drug program (insurance) to send it to me in the mail!! I would just go with name brand if I didn't have a house note!! Truly that's how expensive it is, I'm sure you all know. Something HAS to be done about our crappy generics and inflated outrageous prices on name brand drugs. I've never seen it this bad in my life.

1. You do have the right to choose whichever manufacturer of the drug you are taking- you might have to ask the pharmacy before getting it filled and if you don't like that brand then you simply leave and go to a different pharmacy.

2. Teva to me and many are better than Genentech/Roche brand name

3. You can buy and pay for brand name or generic with cash if you so chose. I have done it myself. Sounds like you're going to the wrong pharmacy.

Re: Kevin (# 1) Expand Referenced Message

You don’t know what you’re talking about. My Lisinopril that I’ve been on for 10 years was just switched to Solco and I got terribly sick. These generics that are being made in China and India are crap!! They’re being forced on us without even knowing the brands are switched when we pick them up. There is a lot of information out there on the generics that are manufactured in other countries. The FDA IS NOT on top of the hundreds of thousands of drugs that are coming from these countries and it’s not just one type of drug!! If something isn’t done about this, you are going to see people either becoming permanently ill or dying and there will be lawsuits in the near future!! It takes some research but there is plenty of info out there on these new generics. Check out “The People’s Pharmacy” for an article on generic drugs ~ you will learn what is really happening!!

Re: judy (# 10) Expand Referenced Message

So far SOLCO clonazepam has not killed me or made me sick, but I do not like it much. Who knows when I will get an Rx of it and who knows what will be in it? Again, our pharmacies, pharmacists are making us sick but the pharmacists can only peddle what they have. This is a very bad situation for generics and is greedy, political and may be criminal when someone dies from drugs made in China,India,Libya, Argentina, Mexico , etc.

i'm sorry, but can someone tell me what these different brands look like? The pharmacy had to give me 2 different types of clonazepam this month. one is round with a yellow and circle with R34 on one side, and the other has a V on one side and 2530 with a line like to cut it in half if you wanted? anyone know which brands these are and if they are good or are the ones you guys/girls have been talking about?

Matt Schulte (# 25) --

V- pill is Qualitest
R- pill is Actavis

I haven’t used the Qualitest but have used the Actavis. The Actavis knocks me out at bedtime when I take it but I feel hungover from it the next day. They wear off rather quickly when compared to Teva. Each pill is subjective so everyone has there own opinions. Try each and see. You can do a search for those pills on google and it will give you the manufacturer. Where did you get the Qualitest?

Re: GSH (# 26) Expand Referenced Message

Thank you so much for the reply GSH, b/c I tried looking them up on google myself, and I couldn't find it-- The Qualitest brand clonazepam are from a RX by my Dr., and I use a little mom and pop pharmacy, I have been with them for about 7 or 8 years. They are an awesome group of people, even if i'm in a bind and run out of something, he'll give me enough to make it till I can see the Dr. Pharmacists believe it or not can just give drugs under certain circumstances, which used to happen a lot more often, but now your lucky if they know your name before you walk in. the pharmacy is The Medicine Shoppe, they are only in Arkansas, and a couple states surrounding Arkansas. But I would definetly recommend them!!! Great People!

Re: judy (# 10) Expand Referenced Message

I am taking Solco clonazepam for my seizure disorder and it does not seem to have side effects like Accord and other brands do. TEVA was the best for me but no longer made.

I am not happy about Solco at all and what it has done to others but for me it hasn't killed me yet, but that could change. At least I can function on it whereas on others I almost couldn't. But Solco has done some pretty terrible things in the manufacturer of drugs and as you probably know by now the government doesn't care, pharmacies don't care
The FDA does not serve the people of America. Too much greed.

No there not...look it up they are made by Princeton Labs in Charlotte NC.
Do a google image search for "solco .5 clonazepam" and look at the labels shown there.

Re: judy (# 28) Expand Referenced Message
Solco is no longer available in my area...only Accord. Things just get worse and the doctors have no control. The pharmacists at Walmart are discourteous and I have observed abuse to patients/ customers in my city at Walmart pharmacies. They certainly do not try to help with alternatives and they think they are doctors but they are not. I am afraid circumstances look bleak for patients who take Clonazepam for many medical conditions.

Re: judy (# 32) Expand Referenced Message

I was not taking 0.5 mg tablets. I had to get 1mg tabs and cut them in half. Different mg of pills are made in different places.

Re: judy (# 33) Expand Referenced Message

This is true for me too at my Walmart They had the Solco in the 1mg and Northstar in the .5. They are by far the worst most discourteous people on the planet. They care about nothing but themselves. Said could not tell me how long they’d carry that brand and acted offended when I knew which brands they had in stock That was my last and final fill at this NC WM

Re: Brent (# 34) Expand Referenced Message

I don't blame you. They do not look at people as "human beings", but as "cash registers". Even then, their humanity has flown out the window and will probably never return.I guess they don't need the income that pays their salaries.

Re: Jimmy (# 31) Expand Referenced Message

Princeton Labs is the manufacturer name. The name of the manufacturer appears on all prescriptions but that is not where the actual pills in the bottle are made. If one researches the manufacturer and the clonazepam and strength, then one can find where the factory outside the USA is, and can also find the ingredients in the medication. A research of ingredients gives a lot of information.

Re: Becky (# 11) Expand Referenced Message

To identify a pill, go to the medication website on the internet and find where the pill identifier section is and you can enter the writing on the pill, the color, the shape, and you will find what it is. From there you can find the manufacturer and start researching the pill by the name and dosage and manufacturer. By asking for the factory where the pill is actually made, you will usually find China or India, but it is almost never made in the USA if it is a generic.

Continue research by finding what the ingredients in the pill are, and then look them up, one by one. You will find the inert ingredients, or fillers and binders and you can find what each ingredient is made for (i.e. industrial degreaser used for cleaning floors). A lot of them are carcinogens. This is the way I found that Mylan clonazepam 1 mg had an industrial degreaser in it. This is not good in your body. It can be a long and tedious task but you will know what pharmacies are selling you. Pharmacies can only peddle what they are sent to sell. But if you ask a pharmacy the manufacturer, they will always give you the name in the USA and tell you it is made in the USA. You have to ask them where the factory the manufacturer contracts with is at or the name of the factory. Hope this helps someone.

Clonazepam of of Roche company
Is good.
I have been taking it since last thirty five years.
It is best suitable if the entire dose is taken divided in three times.

Re: judy (# 38) Expand Referenced Message

Honestly I’m not even sure I want to know exactly what they tried to poison me with. It’s scary that here in the US we have the FDA but pharmaceutical companies are used out of the USA like Solco when they can’t monitor what exactly is put in as fillers. It’s all about money and if you can’t afford the better brand then it’s like your not protected. In my case Robaxin was not being produced by the generic brand made in the USA anymore so CVS started using Solco out of India I believe. When I asked them to order from another manufacturer that I knew also manufacturered Robaxin that didn’t make me sick they refused. Problem is I can’t just go to any pharmacy because my insurance will only allow my long term prescriptions to be filled by CVS. So I ended up stopping that medication. Thank goodness it’s not a medication I’m 100% dependent on. I currently look up where each manufacturer is located when I get a prescription.
