Sober, Except Methadone, Failed Clinic Drug Test For Codeine
UpdatedOK, first of all right now I am fuming. I am mad and upset because I have been off of heroin for over 3 years and been on methadone maintenance the whole time. I have never once in all this time failed a drug test or had any issues. I have not used anything at all. Today, I go in to get my dose and weekly take homes. They said I couldn't dose that I needed to talk to someone first. I go in and talk to some lady I had never met before and she tells me I failed a drug test. I was shocked. Anyways, I know I never took anything, I tell her this. She acts like I may of took something and not of known it like codeine cough syrup, I explain to her I know what that is and I know better than to take any opiates being a addict. Anyways, she acts like she believes me, until she pulls the paperwork and it say's positive for codeine, then she says oh, it can't be wrong and makes me go from weekly to bi weekly's. It's like I was doing to good and since I started going down on my doses they didn't like it so they set me up. Either that or it's a clerical error by the person who tested the urine or someone else or they mixed my urine with someone else. They said that it couldn't be from methadone. I don't know what the heck is going on but I basically got punished for being sober and they think I used and there isn't anything I can do. I am ultra frustrated but I have been sober long enough to not let this set me back. Anyways, anyone have any idea how this is possible or what could have happened? Could they be doing this on purpose to keep me on methadone longer or something somehow? I don't see what the motive to frame me would be so I assume it's a mix up somehow. But how would I prove it?
