Small Round Tall Off-white Pill Marked With Kp

Found pills in my son's Rx bottles that don't look like they should. Small and round, but twice as tall as most pills of this size. Edge between top and side is a sharp 90 degree, not softly curved. Printed on one side Kp.

I haven't located a photo of the pill in question, but have come across a pretty thorough description to compare with yours. Based on my research this could possibly be one of two pills with the same exact marking, similar physical appearance, and indications.

Apparently KP stands for Kalpa Pharmaceuticals, a steroid manufacturer. And if you found these pills in your son's room then unfortunately this is what I would have assumed they are.

Further research leads me to believe that these are either Aromasin or Nolvadex, both which are often used together to prevent gyno in males during a steroid cycle, as well as to prevent breast cancer.

I can't seem to find much more information that, so please don't take this as definitive proof; but if you piece it all together, I'd get the hunch that your son is either taking steroids or hiding something else.

Thanks, David. Steroids were pretty much what I suspected, but wasn't able to find a photo of this one as I had with some other things. I know he has done injectible steroids because I've also found syringes and vials. And he's had surgery for gynocomastia as well. Swore to us that it was caused by excessive working out, but I never quite believed him. He tried to tell us this evening that the Kp pill as well as another one I threw out were both legal. Now I can feel more certain that he's lying; again.

As a regular steroid user, I'd sat your correct that it is a steroid and that is a Kalpana product. It''s definely not Nolvadex or Aro though as Kalpa doesn't make either. It is actually Clenbutorol, used as a cutting steroid.

That is not true, Kalpa Pharmaceuticals manufactures, both clen AND the aromitase inhibitors exemestane (aromasin) and anastrozole (arimidex). They manufacture oral anabolic steroids as well as injectables. Hope this helps.

The pills labeled KP are generally telated to steroids. It may be an anti-aromatization pill that block testosterone from turning to estrogen.

However, all Kaplan pharmaceutical pills have KP on one side. So there could be other possibilities.
