I've been on Tri-Sprintec for 6month's , I decided to skip my period So i went right into the new package, I ended up getting my period anyways i've been bleeding for 11 day's now. Is this normal with this birthcontrol?

Yes, it can happen. They are hormonal based, so you don't always get what you want, when you try to skip your menstrual cycle.

I am on my first set of blue Sprintec pills and I started my period two days before I had to take my placebo pills and so far now my period has been going for 8 days. Is this normal? And if not what should I do?

My Dr. prescribed tri sprintec and told me to start taking the placebo on the first day of my period this month. Do I continue taking all 7 placebos and then start a new pack.
