Hydrochlorothiazide is a diuretic, it works by reducing the amount of fluid in the body. There are several others on the market, such as Furosemide, which is the active ingredient in Lasix.

Bumetanide. It's a round white pill with a line down the middle. It is to reduce fluid. I take this for my kidneys. Certain foods make me retain fluid and this works immediately. Makes you pee a lot but it works. If you need the exact numbers or mg I can give you the one I take.
