I had jadelle put in 6 months after I gave birth to my daughter and she is now a year and 10 months old, so I decided to take it off because I am planning to get pregnant but I have not seen my menstruation for 2 months now after I took it off. I feel really heavy in my tummy but I checked and am not pregnant, should I be nervous now or is it normal?

Hi! How are you doing?

Since Jadelle contains synthetic hormones to prevent pregnancy, it can take while for your body to balance back out on its own, once it's been removed and for ovulation to start occurring again. It can take several months in some women.

If you don't start to cycle again soon, you may want to consult your doctor for assistance.

I had my jadelle removed in March this year. I have been having unprotected intercourse for three months now but there are no signs of pregnancy. How long does it take to get pregnant after having jadelle removed?

I removed my jadelle 22/12/2015 and received my periods for 3 months, then the fourth time it came after a month and 2 weeks. I thought I was pregnant but got really disappointed. Should I be worried and can I be pregnant and still have my periods?

Hello, I had my jadelle removed a month ago and I haven't had my period but today I took an ovulation exam and it was positive. Could it have been a misreading?
