Verwon Says:

This medication is most commonly used to help treat high blood pressure and certain cardiac conditions. Its typical side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache, increased urination and hypotension, as reported by the U.S. FDA.

Kohli, has it been prescribed for you? If so, it would be far more dangerous to let your condition continue out of control, than it is to take the medication as directed.

Mohammedali, lowered heart rate can be a side effect of this medication. Have you experienced any dangerous symptoms, though, such as dizziness, drowsiness or fainting?

And it is quite normal to take such a medication for very long periods of time, though your doctor should be monitoring you to check for any problems on a regular basis.
