Side Effects From Loestrin 24 Fe

In January I went to my gynocologist because I hadn't had my period for a few months and he decided to switch my birth control to Loestrin 24 Fe. The first 3 months I had my period normally, but I have not had one since. After reading a post on here, I also think the birth control could be why I have developed anxiety! I have also been sick off and on with dizzy spells, my migraines have gotten worse, and I have phases when I get extremely nauseous and sick after eating. When I talked to my Doctor's nurse about missing my period she told me that it was normal? I have had off and of spotting and thinking/feeling like I am about to start but I never do. Used to if I missed ONE pill I would start the next day and that hasn't happened. I'm pretty worried that this is the reason I have been feeling so sick and down. I am usually such a fun and energetic person to be around and lately I just want to sit at home!

If there are no medical problems causing it, there is really no harm in skipping your menstrual cycle, many women use birth control pills to deliberately skip, or to have fewer periods each year.

And yes, what you are experiencing is normal, however, your doctor should look into the other issues you're having, because this may not be the right pill for you to use, if it's causing them.
