Side Effects Of Topiramate

Can topiramate make you have an aversion to food? Can it make food not taste good? I seem to be having this but don't know if it is related.

Changes in taste, of both beverages and food, are very common with this medication.

i have been having terrible side affects from Toplep 25. i have been taking it for my migraines and since have had permanent pins and needles in my hands and feet, and sometimes in my tongue. i have no appetite and am losing weight fast. i cant sleep, i feel like im going to pass out most of the time. the neurologist that prescribed them to me is very difficult to get hold of. can you help me?

i am om 50mg toplep once a day, i started out with 25mg for 2weeks and then went up to 50mg. I am using it for my migraines. I am experiencing feelings of anxiety and i also feel very depressed and so tirred i battle to get through the day. I have energy for nothing.

I have been on Topiramate for 3 years at a dose of 25 mg. I started having terrible muscle and joint pain 6 weeks ago so I read up on the medication and found out that these are one of the side effects. I could not get my doctor to return my calls as I am traveling so I asked a pharmacist and was told I could try cutting the pills in half, so I did that for 2 weeks. I am now taking half a pill every other day. The day after I skip the dose I am fine by mid day, but when I take the pill at night the symptoms are so bad I cannot sleep and can hardly move or walk the next day. How long do you think before I can completely stop? I was taking it because I have what they think is a very small type of seizure and I only had them once or twice a year lasting a couple of minutes with it affecting my speech.
