Side Effects Of Jadelle

is it normal to get headaches and blurred vision because of jadelle. i had it for a year and i had those headaches. when it was removed the headaches stopped. please advise.

It is a hormonal based contraceptive, so yes, it can cause those types of symptoms as side effects, just like some women experience from the oral birth control pills.

Hi. I put Jadelle for 5yrs. In 1year i had no periods later about 2months i gained weight and started getting my periods normally. Its almost 4yrs 3months now i have got bad side effect of Jadelle being:-
1. Stiffness and numbness of spine
2. Fatigue
3. Drastic weight loss
NB: i have an abnormal weight gain flunctuation, where by i have turned to be skinny where as am 90kgs and not fat.
May i know if i remove the Jadelle will i gain weight?

Hie Tapiwa.
It Is normal to experience headaches,bad abdominal pains,dizziness etc. Its good you got It removed, and all has gone bacck to normal. I was I could get It removed but I can't and talking pills
make me nausea 24/7 and I always forget to take them so I'm bound to get pregnant when I'm not ready to have another baby. So for me I will stick to jadelle and suffer for a while just not to get a bump. Take care......
