Should I Stop Taking Xarelto?

I have been on Xarelto for 2 weeks for a DVT in my left leg. I feel nauseated all the time and tired. I've been told to walk but after 10 mins of walking I become dizzy and disorientated. I feel this medicine is making me feel worse and my left leg has swollen even more. Plus constant muscle pain in my back and neck. Should I go off them?/

Hello, Karen! How are you doing? I'm sorry about the problems that you're experiencing.

However, given the DVT, it isn't a good idea for you to just stop it. You should consult your doctor about possibly switching to a different medication, if this one is making you that miserable.

Other typical side effects of it, as listed by the FDA, may possibly including headache, increased risk of bleeding and easy bruising.

Are you on any other medications?
