Shelcal CT is a supplement that contains Calcium and Calcitrol, it is used to prevent or treat the conditions that can be associated with a lack of these vital nutrients.

As to side effects, supplements aren't tested for them, as is done with prescription medications, but it is known that the calcium can sometimes cause constipation.
