Has he consulted a doctor?

This product contains the active ingredients Lysine and Propinox and the normal dosing is one tablet, taken 3 to 4 times daily, for pain and spasms.

SInce Propinox isn't used in the U.S. I am afraid I really don't have much information on its use, or possible side effects and risks.

Lysine, however, is just an amino acid.

I use Sertal Compuesto for menstrual cramps. It has been God sent ever since I developed an allergy to all OTC NSAIDS. I can only get these from another country so I am forced to portion them. I take one SC with 2 to 3 Tylenols and I'm ok for about 6 hours. Taking them in conjunction with the Tylenol makes a big difference in pain reduction. If I take the SC alone, I need to re-dose in under 4 hours. My cramps laugh at Tylenol. Together, they are a cramp fighting duo! I've noticed absolutely NO adversed side effects. I really wish I could find them in the states :(

Is your brother taking the Serpal by IM injection or via pills. The pills you take one in the morning and another at night if pain persists. More than 2 pills a day for long periods is a little risky . PS, I live in Costa Rica too.

Sertal Compuesto is available in many Latin Countries. Check with the Mfg "Roemmers". This med interactions is not limited to Warfarina. Use caution. There is also a warning for cardiac patients.

This medication works for extreme stomach and abdominal pain. I take 2 pink pills if I am suspect that the pain will be sever (normal attachs). My attacks are predictable down to 2 weeks. Every 80 - 90 days I get an attack. I am pain tolerant. This pain is horrible. My girlfriend sees me in this pain and she freaks. I roll around on the floor for 4 hours. Been to hospitals and they can't see anything in a CT. It's like something grows inside of me and then fights its way out. No kidney stones. Kidney stones are prevented with Chanca Piedra.

I have the exact same symptoms as you described and discovered propinox while on vacation in the Dominican Republic. I am so glad to find something that can help the pain instead of having to endure it for hours on end. Anyone who has experienced this kind of pain knows what I am talking about. The forum has provided me with valuable information for future reference.

Re: Verwon (# 1)

I was prescribed this medication in the Dominican after a Pancreatic attack. After a two day stay on IV in the hospital I was sent home with this medication. The emergency doctor at home said i was just dehydrated. My doctor booked me a CT scan and I have cysts on my around my pancreas. They seem to think it was alcohol related but I thought it was some kind of parasite. Pancreas, Gallbladder and Liver (CBC liver & enzymes normal) are fine. All blood work came as normal amylase 89 & lipase 174. In the Dominican it was amylase 724.1 lipase 13472 I still have recurring stomach pains. I've always taken prescribed heartburn pills. I have another CT scan in a couple of weeks. This all happened one year ago. Any thoughts?
