"Sedilax - Indications
Rheumatism in inflammatory and degenerative forms of acute and chronic, acute attacks of gout, acute inflammatory conditions, post-traumatic and post-surgical. "Contraindications of Sedilax
The use of the product is contraindicated in patients with active peptic ulcer disease, a history of hypersensitivity to diclofenac sodium, paracetamol, caffeine, carisoprodol and in patients in whom attacks of asthma, urticaria, acute rhinitis are precipitated by aspirin and other drugs that inhibit prostaglandin synthetase. Severe hepatic, cardiac or renal impairment. Blood dyscrasias, hemorrhagic diathesis (thrombocytopenia, coagulation disorders), porphyria, severe hypertension."
"Adverse / Side Effects Sedilax
Occasionally an dyspepsia, epigastric pain, recurrent peptic ulcer, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, headache, dizziness, vision disturbances, hepatitis, pancreatitis, interstitial nephritis, swelling by retaining electrolytes. Allergic reactions may occur rarely, Stevens-Johnson syndrome and Lyell, and thrombocytopenia, pancytopenia, leukopenia, agranulocytosis and aplastic anemia. Prolonged use can result in renal papillary necrosis."
"Sedilax - Dosage
As a rule, the minimum recommended dose is one tablet every 12 hours. You are advised to individualize dosing, adapting it to the clinical presentation, patient age and their conditions. Should be given the lowest effective doses and, whenever possible, the duration of treatment should not exceed 10 days. Longer treatments require special remarks. The tablets should be swallowed whole (not chewed) with meals, with a little liquid."
