I've been prescribed Se-Tan PLUS after having surgery for colon cancer. This is in capsule form. Upon renewal, "Ferrous Fumarate" 324 mg. tablets were substituted. Is there equivalency between these two prescriptions?

Thanks

They are both the same, the new one you've received is just a generic for Se-Tan.

This is an iron supplement used to treat, or prevent anemia. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, funny taste, constipation, and dark stool.

Is there anything else I can help with?
