Is Sandoz Adderall Good

Hello. I've been taking Sandoz Adderall IR for about 5 months now, so far so good. I am taking around 10mg x2 a day and it doesn't last long enough, and when the crash comes I become very confused and bored.

1. Does Sandoz make Adderall XR? If so, is it any good compared to other brands or generics?

2. If not, what is the best generic for Adderall XR?

Hello Tyler,

Yes Sandoz has been making an XR version of their Adderall since mid 2017. Due to the ingredients being different in the XR, as well as other generics, I wouldn't be able to tell you which one would work best for you. It's also worth noting that since you would be switching to the XR the medication may not have as strong of an impact as it used to due to the lower dosages of active ingredients in your system at a time.

In case someone else has a question like this. Adderall XR is formulated to mimic Adderall IR being taken 4 hours apart. So 1/2 is IR and the other half is time release for 4 hours later. So, technically shouldn't be different from taking half the IR dose and the other half 4 hours later.

But, I can say for me, taking the brand name XR seems to be stronger than IR. I can take 60mg XR with 20 IR which for the initial active amount is 30mg from XR and 20mg IR for 50mg initial dose. But that seems to be more affective for me than 60 or even 80mg IR. And for IR that is either Sandoz or Teva. Don't know why though. I am on Mounjaro which is affecting my Adderall dosage, likely in part due to delay of stomach emptying. Don't know if that is making the difference or not.
