Sandoz Adderall Reviews

Updated

Sandoz is the best generic ir adderall I've used. August 11, 2017 I was told by the pharmacist they no longer produce this product. I asked if brand name was available and was told yes. When I received them I noticed they were made by Teva and let me tell you they are awful. I don't know what to do if I can't find a decent generic brand.

Activis (spell check?) is pretty good. I also went from Sandoz to Teva, not by choice, and hated it. Then I tried Activis, and I'm happy with it.

That's strange if it is discontinued but CVS just gave me Sandoz Adderall today 9/5/2017 , I had requested corepharma because previously they gave me Mylan brand, which was Bad. I did well on corepharma but the only generic they could get was Sandoz.

It is possible that just that particular CVS is no longer able to order it, they are generally dependent upon their distributor and can only obtain what they have in stock, when they need to restock their supply.

The FDA warns that this medication is a stimulant and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, and irritability.

Has anyone else run into this issue?

Typical pattern I think with pharmacies. Coincidentally I agree about the teva, those are terrible, and mallinckrodt. Well, just be thankful if you havent had those yet. They might try that crap on you next time. I dont know who mylan is but it seems my pharmacy wants to charge over 100 bucks for this crappy according to you generic. I've never had corepharma. I agree sandoz has been the best. As far as sandoz not making them anymore, well I hope your pharmacist is lying because if that's true im done with this stupid game. In fact, it seems these pharmacies and drug companies are purposely trying to pull one over on all of us A.D.D folks by giving us bunky generics. That makes them as shady as any shady dealer. But what is their motive? That's what matters. Maybe they dont want anyone starting the real meds because it's too much job security and a hassle to stay on the meds for life. To be honest I wish I never started on it because at least before this, I may have had average grades but I was perfectly fine with that and secure in myself and my musical talents. And I love naps. There is nothing wrong with taking naps.

Re: cw (# 4) Expand Referenced Message

Shady for sure! Unfortunately the Corepharma is not produced anymore (I believe it stopped in May 2017). If anyone is still getting this, it is just the stock that is left over. Teva and Aurobindo are horrible. I'm getting the brand name (also byTeva, don't even get me started on what I think of that con game). For me the brand name is slightly better than the 2 generics I mentioned, but NOT what it used to be when it was made by Shire, plus it costs a fortune. I thought I would see if I could get Mylan or Mallinckrodt, but not now after seeing everyone's comments. There are people that care about our suffering, but none of them work for drug companies.
So tired of this fight, I would just quit if I didn't have to keep a job...but as you all know, without the med, the ability to perform a job is unlikely or impossible depending on your degree of symptoms...

I hope you are correct, because I am trying to find a good brand of Adderall. I found core pharma to be good, although it left me a little touchy. However, and we should yell it from the mountain tops, Aurobindo is not adderall...I really don't know why the company bothers...I guess the costs provide CVS with a better profit margin...untill cvs looses their clientele. I am surprised about core pharma's decision to stop investing the the manufacture of their product. And, from what I gleam, the true Brand Adderall is Barr .. and no one finds it to be effective.

My ability to produce work quality was amazingly improved with the use of a good make adderall. Needless to say, I am now sitting in this bed, trying to find a solution. What the heck? Does FDA not want us to be able to participate in this economy?

Re: Scanner (# 2) Expand Referenced Message

Hi- can you tell me which CVS carries sandoz? I've called around to a handful of pharmacies and none carry it in my area. Hopefully, you live somewhere in California, lol.

Thank you in advance

Re: Em (# 8) Expand Referenced Message

Which CVS in Indiana? I will fly there if I have to because sandoz is the only one that works for me. Everything else makes me feel awful. I appreciate the help.

Thanks in advance

Re: esre (# 5) Expand Referenced Message

CVS just filled my adderall perscription, using core pharma. But, I am still not up to par. I am slightly motivated, but a little jittery. I believe the interruption in regimen may have taken its toll. But, suddenly, it is available.

Re: cw (# 4) Expand Referenced Message

Just received new refill and got core pharma. It is available in California at CVS. Very shady goings-on. But, the damage is done, because I still am not myself. Interruption in treatment has caused problems. Anyway, thought I would alert the group.

Where in Indiana?! I am in Bloomington and in the hunt for sandoz. I actually think it's better than brand, which I've been in the past year bc the insurance want brand.

I ended up going to Walgreens in Martinsville. They carry prasco which is on the same level as sandoz. They are the two authorized generics for xr.

It looks like something happened over there at Sandoz Labs. They seem to be very busy!

Anything after "brand" existed, sucks in comparison.

Re: Grant (# 12) Expand Referenced Message

I live in Ga, Sandoz is sold at Sam's Club here. The round 94’ round orange E 404 is what I’m prescribed (90 a month). If I fill at Walgreens, they are always the Teva Orange football shaped ones. I like them both. But whatever peach u31 one that CVS has was crap!!

Does anyone know what pharmacies in Texas carry Sandoz Adderall? I'm located in Austin but will travel to San Antonio or DFW to find it.

I got them in December 2022 and they don’t make me feel bad but they don’t really make me feel anything. They look and feel exactly like the epic manufacturer that is weak AF

Re: Sandoz (# 106) Expand Referenced Message

I know this is almost a year after you posted your question, but I can tell you that Walgreens and Walmart get them. They use the same distributor and then Rite Aid and CVS use the same distributor. So basically if you can’t get them at Rite Aid you can probably get them at Walgreens.

That’s why I stopped accepting Aurobindo adderall. I would rather go without because they made me physically ill and they didn’t help the ADHD.

Re: Stasia (# 110) Expand Referenced Message

The name brand is made by Teva, Teva had a problem with running out of active ingredient like they all do every single year by the end of the year, but they also said they were having a problem with getting and keeping employees to pack the pills and ship them to pharmacies. They said back in November that they expect to be fully operational again by March. Of course they will probably run out of active ingredient in August or September like they always do, so I would try to stock up for next fall. But they should be back in action fully by March

If you think people with narcolepsy need it more than people with ADHD you are ignorant. People who need psych meds need them just as much as people who have physical issues.

Re: Sleepy247 (# 116) Expand Referenced Message

Thank you, I will, I also need to report the epic manufacturer because those are awful.

Do you remember Aurobindo adderall? OMG those were THE WORST. I had to have my doctor start writing do not dispense Aurobindo on all my prescriptions because I would accidentally get them and I would literally throw them away because they made me feel awful. But every time I think I feel them and I would get them I would report them. Now they don’t make them anymore. And I’m truly disgusted that the FDA let them continue making them as long as they did. You can go back and look at the actions FDA took (LOL) when they found their factories were dirty and disgusting. I don’t know that the constant medwatch reports helped, but eventually action was taken. So yeah we should keep doing it.

I know you made this a couple months ago. Walgreens and Walmart have been getting this brand lately. Last month when I was at Walgreens I got half Teva half Sandoz.

Re: Ree Ree (# 119) Expand Referenced Message

I didn’t get the stomach pain from them but they don’t really work. I do like them better than the epic those are absolutely garbage.

I try to only take Teva, I think they should be back in full force by March was what they were saying a couple months ago
