Does anyone know of a doctor in and around the Baton Rouge Louisiana area that will prescribe pain meds that takes Medicaid? I'm seeing a doctor now in Maryland but I really need to move back to Louisiana very sad that your pain keeps you from moving. I have a sister that is terminally ill and sad to say dying...and meds are keeping me from going to take care of her in her final days. I do not have insurance. Having a hard time finding a doctor that prescribes narcotics. Have chronic pain from sciatica, two back laminectomy's, discectomy's. fusions, and hardware removed, then reinstalled. Same thing in neck. Have nerve root damage, neuropothy entire right leg, buttocks, entire back, face, and neck. Spinal stenosis, scoliosis, ankylosing splondiosis, RA, DDD, and more. I live in Fairfield Township Ohio. I was dismissed because my husband of 32 year's stole my pain medication. I pressed charges he went to jail, showed the doctor the reports and he still dismissed me! Now I have NO doctor and am going to go through major withdrawals, I have even been told I could die due to this and still can not get help, I do not know what to do. I do not take this medcine for the fun of it I need it for chronic medical conditions and no one seems to care, I can not get into another pain management for 2 to 3 months and my family doctor said she could not write the perscriptions until I can get in to see some one else. I do not know what to do, where to go, or anything else. I have 3 day's of medicine that he did not get. that's all!! can anyone out there ...

according to her directions and how many pills Im given. I haven't even had the surgeries yet but my pain has been unbearable considering these proven medical problems have been going on for 10+ years. Thank God for OHP, I finally have med insurance, which I hadn't had since 2004. This PCP even knew my old PCP that I had gone to and paying out of my pocket for help with pain management. I was on a 3yr pain contract with old PCP and she was always willing to help with adjusting pain med if they were not helping to keep pain under control. I do not understand why this (younger than me PCP will not even discuss with me about adjusting my pain meds.) My son has been a methodone for program for 5 months. He is disabled and his only means of income is $1,100 a month on SSD. He has to pay $35 a week to get his methodone. They ask him anywhere from 2 to 3 times a week for a U.A which they charged him $20 per diagnosis. This is from $40 to $60 a week that he does not have. If they do not get their money they refuse to give him his medicine. I am a senior citizen and cannot afford an extra $40 or $60 a week to give him.
